You say "unskilled gameplay." I say you sound a little salty. Think about the objective of this game type. Calling shotguns "unskilled" is nothing more than a refuge for people who get their panties in a wad over how other people play the game.

i used a shotgun in this and is was so easy like anyone who actually thinks it takes any amount of skill is stupid the only you should die with a shotgun out is when either your out of ammo, lose a shotgun duel or die to a super. Its so stupidly easy to run around with a shotgun

You want competitive go play ToO. Nothing about "competitive" means you should get upset about what other players use. You know, don't take your video game statistics so seriously that you come to the forums and whine about the "skill" of other players.

Iron Banner is an endgame competitive multiplayer event, same as Trials. Don't try and tell me that one should be open to everyone regardless of skill. Endgame means it's meant to be challenging, meant to be difficult, and not for just anyone to sashay their way through. Running around like a moron with a shotgun is the antithesis of that. Regardless of your personal opinion, I'm more upset that my favorite endgame activity (which used to be way more of a challenge) has devolved into nothing more than shotguns and casual play. I could give a shit less what people use in the Crucible, play the game how you want; just take your corner camping, unskilled garbage play style to anywhere in PvP except Iron Banner or Trials.

IB is endgame content the same way heroic strikes are endgame content. ToO is more like running a raid. I wouldn't equate heroic strikes to raids and you're silly for comparing IB and ToO. You are really sounding like a salty tryhard who can't deal with the fact that this IB isn't working out for you like you'd wish. Is it because you can't go flawless? Tough shit, move on.

Half the times I get killed by A shot gun I don't agree with the scenario but at least it's not a fire time on the other side in a corner hard scoped has hell playing with each other. Seriously, what part of the objective of supremacy don't you people understand? You seriously want to sit back, snipe, and then what? Have your teammates pick up the crest? Do you expect to then run across the map and pick it up yourself? Do you have a spotter who can call out crests to the rest of your fireteam for pickup? Maybe supremacy isn't for you if that's what you want. This is like going into Mayhem and then complaining because everyone is using their supers all the time.

Who said anything about sniping? You seem to think that everyone who is anti-shotgun is some sniper elitist who wants to camp across the map from the other team and slaughter them the entire game. I think to a certain extent, sniping falls into the same category as shotgunning when it comes to skill. And there are plenty of other secondary weapons that can be used in place of either one of these options. Don't be a gimboid.

You're on here railing against a shotgun based gamemode. You sure don't use fusions much. You have more shotgun kills than snipers, which is odd. It must just be this game type and your over-inflated belief in your own "skillz."

My point is that it doesn't have to be a shotgun-based game mode. There are these things called primary weapons, most of which work just as well for playing a game type like supremacy. I hate fusion rifles and I'm not very good with them, that's why I never use them. I'm not the biggest fan of shotgun play either, but the increased number of other players using them has forced me to try and use them more often than I'd like to. I never said I was highly skilled, I've never gone flawless, but Iron Banner used to be far more challenging than it is now. What I really don't understand is why you are so salty about another player expressing an opinion that clearly differs from yours. If you want to run around with a shotgun and call yourself skilled, that's your business. But don't start shelling out personal attacks and digging around in people's stats just to prove that you're right. The difference between you and me is that I don't need to look at your stats to know exactly what kind of player you are.
