It's most definitely not a top tier DPS. Not even close.

https://www.google.ca/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/4qj1a4/fusion_grenades_viking_funeral_has_greater_dps/ Each fusion 'nades by itself is mere 2% less damage than a Black Spindle Crit when damaging Ultra enemies. That's without the burn from touch of Flame, and without the bonus damage, just the lone fusion grenade. And without Viking Funeral to push it's damage a bit over 15% (and the rest of the party gets that bonus too, which it stacks with Tether and Weapons of Light). After the bonuses, it's 13% more damage than Spindle. With nothing but Fusion Grenades, Datto proved you can two-round the Warpriest in Kings fall. Although considering how it works, it would be better to combine with Tether and Bubbles and weapons fire than 6 radiance spams. Really only 1 Warlock doing this is necessary. Other advantages: Boosts team damage by a bit more than 15% that stacks with all other damage bonuses. Consumes no ammo, letting you follow up with heavy and special weapons once its duration ends. Combines well with Cannons in the Aksis 2nd fight, because you can use it and throw grenades at the same time. Making them, bar none, the best to use cannons against the boss. Song of Flame boosting ally grenade cooldowns to allow a grenade throw between reloads or by other cannon users. In the Aksis 2nd fight, you can use your Fusion Grenades to sneak in some notable extra damage in the lesser stun phases before popping super in the main damage phases without having to use any significant resources.

Editado por NobodyJustBrad: 10/5/2016 7:20:48 PMI don't care what happens at Warpriest. Please use a valid scenario. You show me a video of you using those grenades as your primary DPS on Aksis and let me see the total damage done at the end screen. Until you can beat mine, or even come close, it's not top tier.

I'll see what I can do. And, you know, you can try it yourself as well. However Warpriest is a valid scenario. Warpriest Damage phase gives a base damage buff to all damage. So 'nades and spindle get the same damage boost, it's not like Golgeroth where it's a critical modifier. The link I offered actually shows the different damage values dealt against normal, major, and ultra targets, the higher up the tier list, the less and less weapon damage does. abilities being unaffected by enemy tier damage reduction. The method is competitive with Black Spindle when fighting Ultra enemies, and it only less when hitting majors or weaker. However the DPS advantage of the 15% bonus damage for the rest of your team across 14 seconds. Just about as much as a whole 'nother Guardian doing damage, on top of you doing damage that is comparable to a sniper that doesn't have to reload. Plus the radiance + cannons thing is something only warlocks can do.
