This happened to me earlier while grinding iron banner.
Edit: most people are saying "just pull out a primary". I didn't pull out my primary because I was really just focused on how I couldn't move/got stuck in the tree.

Yeah this is the problem with pvp right now. Nobody knows what a primary weapon is.

That tree is evil and needs to be nerfed. I remember twice trying to throw a lightning grenade at the wall next to that tree. Only to have it hit one of the branches and point right at me.
