Yes, I've dedicated 110% of my time for over a year now to get one but they seem to be taunting me with it. It's infuriating! Ever since Rise of Iron dropped, I'm stuck in Classic Crucible playlists to try and get it yet every other match I play, someone else gets it, someone else who's usually only one position above or below me. I've tried everything; I have all of the other Crucible legendary weapons in my inventory to show Smart-Loot what I need, I've stayed in the same lobby for hours at a time to work up stacks in consecutive matches played, but I'm still getting copies of the weapons I already have and watching everyone else get one. I've spent over a year doing this and I feel I need to be at least compensated for all of my effort. I just want the gun! I'm entirely careless over what perks are on it I just want the gun that I've declared to be my favorite in both cosmetics and in play style. I feel that I am more than deserving for my own Red Spectre especially with the amount of time I have clocked in for it. The worst part is that I'm not a pvp based person, I'd rather run strikes and raid with friends but I solely flushed that all away for a dream of obtaining this gun. That being said, I almost expect there to be nothing done about it so I'll be missing out on the Iron Banner tomorrow and all week and I'll likely eventually give up and stop playing Destiny. I've been a dedicated Guardian since vanilla and this dropable weapon has drained me to the point of quitting entirely. I want compensation, that's all I'm gonna say.
