Honestly, if Destiny 2 is restarting from scratch, there is no reason why Y1 gear SHOULDN'T be brought forward so that Y1 players can enjoy their favorite gear just a little bit longer. Being forced to leave gear behind is a major slap in the face considering Y2 players get to carry their gear forward. Although I think carrying Y2 gear forward was ultimately the right decision (not repeating the mistakes of TTK), the decision should have been to allow ALL gear to move forward, especially in light of the fact that we may have to leave it ALL behind in Destiny 2 anyways. Quite frankly, the fact that Y1 gear was left behind while Y2 gear was carried forward feels like a major slap in the face and its just ONE of a number of reasons why I did not re-up for RoI. Now, I hear that Destiny 2 may start us from scratch. If that is true, then do the right thing: let us bring ALL Y1 gear forward as well and let us enjoy it until D2 launches. If you did this Bungie, I'd go out and buy RoI TODAY! Ball is in your court Bungie. I'd love a response from Deej or Cosmo on this one, but my hope for this game is Dwindling anyways.
