So I've spent well over 24 hours of game time into this new Expansion. And Still only 361 light with my best gear.
Got a good run Trying to farm Omnigul last night, after learning about the method to kill her quick for better gear..
Now I can't do it..
I think it's Uderly RIDICULOUS I have to keep grinding the same Year one and 2 strikes a hundred times- yes I have already done the Heroics since update several times along with completed every Quest currently Available-
AND IM STILL NOT A HIGH ENOUGH LEVEL TO DO THE RAID!
I want to do the raid, I'm have been looking forward to it since launch.
I may be a casual- or my wife thinks I play way to much as it is-
But I did Not ever have this problem in Year one or Two gaining light enough to enter the raid within a week to two of it dropping.
Rant over-
Just tired of doing Strikes and Bounties hoping for a package to gain a quarter of a light level at a time.
Edit: decided to add.
Why not have Quest that yield LL 370 at least gear?
Taken King had
Exotic Swords-310
Black Spindle- 310 later bumped to 290
Regular Quests that yielded 300 gear.
Meanwhile the raid minimum was 290.
This Rise of Iron gives No Quests that help the player to achieve light high enough to get close to minimum recommended light level for raid.

I would suggest grinding your faction and vanguard Rep up for packages to level up.
-
get to grinding kid... that is the real game.
-
The real question is: why wasn't it fixed sooner? It was basically loot cave 3.0.
-
Problem is in bungie allowing people to level past 365 off packages etc, 365 light should be MAX only way above that should be trials, Raid and iron banner that's it, you should have to drop that gear in end game activities to go higher or to get stuff to infuse, and 360 is high enough to do raid, all way up to boss fight part 2, even that mag be possible not sure but first night me n my team were 360 n got to final boss in few hours
-
Lol, uderly
-
If they wanted the leveling system to be that easy, they would just give us the armor/weapons. Once again, we as players, exploited a flaw in Bungie's never ending system of flaws. So they fixed it. End of discussion.

Git gud 381 light and never farmed omnigul, also didn't save up any materials/exotics for roi Stop complaining and do heroics

Editado por grantmy: 9/29/2016 7:40:55 PMYou need an higher level artifcact. Grind the court or Oryx (to up your eris level) or get a package from eris by cashing in wormspore. Once you get a 360+ artifact, you'll get gear that will get you to 362-365 and will allow you to take on the raid. Don't give up - you've got this buddy.
-
What light level were you when the expansion dropped?
-
1 RespuestaTo answer your edit, they did. The new gun the was discovered drops at 390
-
It's been a week man.... go outside and take a deep breath and enjoy the day. Take your time, enjoy the socialization and relax. The raid isn't going anywhere, but today won't ever come back again.
-
1 RespuestaSo you're mad that you now have to do the same strikes over and over even though before the patch you were farming omnigul which is even more repetitive?

2 RespuestasAny exploit/bug that benefits the player in any way will be hunted down and patched with extreme prejudice. Any that hinder the player in any way large or small will be ignored for the next 6 months or until they feel like it.
-
351 is plenty high enough to do the first part of the raid. if you have your siva cache keys, it won't be a problem to get through the first boss to the chest, then the Zamboni to get the next chest. Aksis will be your only real issue, but you can farm just the first two parts for a couple weeks to get that light level up. also farm the Archon's Forge, they just boosted the drop rates for the offerings in the forge room.
-
2 RespuestasDoes anyone else see the irony in him not wanting to run the same strikes over and over again to get gear?
-
3 RespuestasIt's an exploit and shouldn't have been possible in the first place obviously.
-
6 RespuestasEvery loot farm gets patched eventually. I did the raid last night at 357 and had no issues.
-
2 RespuestasOmnigul got patched cause it was an exploit. Plain and simple.

1 RespuestaEditado por Zed The Wise: 9/29/2016 5:40:21 PMUderly? As in a cows udders? Lol wtf. Utterly is the word you're looking for.

1 RespuestaThe real question is why patch her and NOT make three of coins work on her? If she can only drop loot at final phase there is no reason three of coins shouldn't work on her.
-
1 RespuestaWhat light level were you at the end of Year 2? If you have invested 24 hours into this expansion alone, you should be higher than 261 by now if you have been farming strikes that much. Make sure you are always equipping your highest light gear before you pick up those blues, or decrypt any engrams. Also, do yourself a favor and save marks and don't infuse too much stuff yet, just keep your highest blue from each category and just equip that prior to picking up new blues/decrypting. I wasted so many marks initially because I would immediately infuse my fav legendary stuff up by just a few points constantly. I stopped doing that, held on to the blues to equip when needed, and only infused once I had at least a 10+ light level gain.

Editado por More Cowbell: 9/29/2016 6:20:18 PMYou are doing something wrong. I don't own RoI, have spent less time running strikes and have a 364 character. I find it remarkable that no one at Bungie anticipates these exploits. Draksis says hello. No more farming Grasp of Malok. Nerf incoming :(
-
lololol
-
What I find perplexing is that why wasn't this the same response from Bungie when people were farming Omnigul for their "God" rolls Grasp of Malok?
