What the hell are you talking about... they have done this for every raid. There has always been a exotic to get from the raid.

But those didn't involve stopping mid raid to solve a puzzle.. once everyone has it are they going to stop, for ever how long this takes to do, for other people to obtain .....or just get the raid done for the drops

If it takes 5 mins then I think they will help.. if it took 20 min I could see people wanting to skip.. the exotic chest in there will help tho

Because i believe he thinks at some point, people won't want to bother with the monitors and just speed through the raid, meaning he won't be able to find a team that is willing to take the time. That step to open op the diamond does seem pretty long, and out of the way for groups looking to blow through it. I mean, im sure people will still be willing to do it for someone as long as you find the right group, but i can totally understand why he is worried, what with how most of these raid groups are!

I can see it from that perspective. I have a raid team that would do whatever so I can't say I'm going to have that problem. But I understand from his point of view.

I think bungie really got it right with putting an exotic chest in there too though, i think that will help immensely, because even if people already have it, they will be more likely to help since they have the chance at some loot too. If it was just the monitor, in three weeks, no one would be wanting to open that thing up!
