So I was super excited to receive my days of Iron set, like most guardians I assume, but was disappointed to find it had hand cannon reload, and hand cannon\shotgun ammo. Now I'm sure with this community's love of both of those things most people wouldn't complain and might even celebrate this roll. I am not one of these people.
Now after a little experimentation you can get different Int\dis\str and element armor on them; but the middle rows don't seem to change at all. I hoped that this would change at weekly reset, unfortunately it seems to not be the case.
It is a bit restricting and I don't understand why they would design it this way. Sure it'd be a bit much to let you reroll it until your build is perfect thus making getting new armor pointless; but having it change on weekly reset could help mitigate this and give people an incentive to keep searching. This ignores the fact that most people already have perfect builds on armor that thet kept from TTK, and are just upgrading.
Guess if you want want to look like a Iron lord while having good perks at the same time you'd better get used to having Handcannon as your primary or using exotic gloves with the set.
Tl;Dr - Let us reroll or get different middle row rolls on Days Of Iron set, maybe reset it weekly.

Like the ghost generates glimmer from taken, who do not feature in this dlc.

I'm just happy my favorite looking armor set has increased rocket ammo.

5 RespuestasEditado por GalaxySpider: 9/28/2016 5:22:14 AMTo be honest, Iron Banner Year 2 set still looks absolutely amazing on my female Hunter. The regular Iron Lord has pretty boring look to it, on a Hunter, and the flame version....doesn't make sense. Yes, many things don't make sense in Destiny but c'mon...why is my armor burning from the inside?? Love the Warlock armor though. Looks pretty dope, even in the non-ornament form. I'm ok with the perks (love using handcannons...especially The First Curse), even though I would like to have more sniper ammo for the body armor.

3 RespuestasAllow ornaments on any legendary piece of gear.
-
I was hoping with the weekly reset that the gear would update, but no. While I do like my hand cannons, I also like versatility. Bring us reforging Bungie.

1 RespuestaThey all look awful.

5 Respuestasehm, just claim a new chest from the book, itll give you a set of light 3 arms/legs/body/helm/cloak with random re-rolled perks.
-
2 RespuestasI'm just gonna use Y2 IB armour (infused obviously) and hope some new gear drops post match that has the sort of perks I'm looking for .
-
10 RespuestasYou know you can claim the armor pack how many times you want, right ?

7 RespuestasThis. I like my Eyasluna and my Imago Loop but they are not top tier weapons. I need scout or auto rifle reloader/increased ammo!!! Bungo....... Why u do dis??

3 RespuestasRelated topic. How do I change the intellect discipline and strength on it? People keep saying you can if you keep infusing more but, no luck.
-
I have left it in the book, not coz I don't want the rolls, I simply don't have the space. The lack of vault space has killed me this dlc :(
-
It's really kind of upsetting to get this set. I can't imagine it's intentional that gun perks are static.

3 RespuestasFor the Hunter gauntlets, why did they just leave the non-Ornamented left arm bare? And for the Ornamented ones, why didn't they put a pauldron on the right? Here's my revision for the gauntlets: Switch the non-Ornamented pauldron to the left, add some kind of wrapping to the left arm at least, to make it not-so-bare. On the right pauldron, give it a plain version of Efrideet's pauldron. For the Ornamented gauntlets, simply keep the non-Ornamented pauldron on the right shoulder. Just doesn't make sense why the arm you see the most on the Hunter was just left bare. Looks kind of unfinished.

I agree about the perks being meh, but a set of armor changing its perks every week would be even worse.
-
Allthough I actually use handcannons and the perks are great for me I have to agree. They should just make it so you can recollect the package but it comes with different stats. Problem solved

13 RespuestasI was hyped for the new armour. Then I saw what you needed to do, to activate the ornaments. Then I saw that you couldn't get particular perks. Then I saw you couldn't get Intellect/Discipline on all pieces. I'm really disappointed. The armoury suggests that they are bringing back all the previous Iron Banner armour sets. I was a fan of the Talion Grace armour set in HoW so I'll be pleased to get the Iron Banner armour of that type. For the time being, I'll keep my Iron Banner armour from Y2 Destiny. It looks awesome and has all the perks I want on it. Anyone want to suggest an amour set I should collect?

2 RespuestasDude...YES...I'm building toward getting that set, but the rolls are AWFUL for me. Surely it will change right? Definitely seems like a weird roll. It's a super grind to deck them out with all their ornaments, and they'll basically be "unusable" the way I play. Just weird.

1 RespuestaThis is why Warlocks have the smexy Ophidian Aspect.
-
I don't see how allowing us to choose the perks on our armor would be broken. The ammo and reload speed buffs are not that strong; they don't give an incredibly unfair advantage. It's armor. I don't mind since I have one of each weapon, and I use them all depending on my mood and the situation. I simply rerouted til I got Int/Disp with extra armor while using a void subclass.

Editado por ProFatass: 9/28/2016 2:57:27 AMYeah personally I'd like scout rifle reloaded with scout rifle ammo and sniper ammo. I do like that the boots have heavy ammo
-
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one this annoys, hopefully bungie will see this and rethink the design for the future.

1 RespuestaWhy have more armor when in arc subclass on chest but Agi on Solar kills on legs baffles me

It's a solid point.
