Who thinks Icebreaker should come back?
Icebreaker was a great sniper rifle. It's design and unique perk gave it the kick it needed. I remember doing great things with icebreaker and I'd love to make more memories with this exotic weapon. What do you guys think? Should the glory of icebreaker be restored or should it be left behind?

Yes I think it should... If it was still broken you would have people still using it in normal crucible but you don't see it at all really. I think it should come back since its more geared towards pve anyways.

ice breaker was an okay sniper. i really only used it for two things tho: 1. VoG - Oracle cheesing. 2. Prince (rip) - Purple Rain.

The removal/nerfing of guns is just stupid. OH NOES PEOPLE ARE DOING TOO WELL WITH "Johnny's Pistol of Defiance", IT'S TOO POWERFUL MAKE IT USELESS Done. BUT WAIT NOW EVERYONE IS USEING "1000000000 Foot Stare" AND IT'S NOT FAIR MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE Done. CAN WE JUST MAKE ALL GUNS AND CLASSES DO THE SAME DAMAGE? No that's the points of different guys, classes, styles etc

Every one has complained about all the guns and all the classes thats why pvp is a mess. Everything was nerfed because jimmy down the block killed me with a last word and he was a titan nerf every thing. [spoiler]stop being hypersensitive and git gud.[/spoiler]

I would love to have it back, but it should be a strictly PvE weapon. I hate having to hit my menu to add synths, kills the fun for me.

6 RespuestasThe answer is everyone. Everyone thinks IceBreaker should come back. I was on vacation the second time xur sold it. Had a friend log in and go buy it for me. The salt on that day in these forums was real. Probably the worst I ever saw.

Oh god yes. If they can bring back gally which was far more game breaking then ice breaker(depending who u ask). I loved that freaking sniper. It was by far my favorite weapon in the game. From the way it looked to the scope that was just the right amount of zoom to the sound it made everyone it fired. Signed and bumped.

I'd like to see it come back. The more exotic weapon choices and gear choices that we have the less likely hood we see everyone using the same stuff. Almost everyone has a gjallerhorn in almost every scenario. Ice breaker or a buff to Suros or a buff to some underwhelming exotics would make things much more fun.

Icebreaker eliminates the need to conserve special ammunition. What could make it useful was if the ammo regen was dependant on kills. If you could only regen ammo by maintaining a specific kill threshold. That would eliminate the possibility of cheesing bosses with it. If the ammo regen only worked while maintaining something like 3 kills per minute, that would make it an effective and balanced weapon.

I wouldn't care, but bungie sure as hell would. What should really come back, though, is a new and improved pocket infinity. It's complete trash now and bungie treats it like it never existed. It was a big part of the experience for a short while in year 1. It really needs to be viable again, as it is no more than a useless collectors item at the moment.
