Already got 12 drops today, none of them helped. You really think getting the drops from different places will make a difference?

It will when it does. I sometimes don't get the loot I want but it's a process.

I'll just wait until spring. Every fall the game is a horrible grind, every spring they change the progression to something reasonable. I've been through this in year 1 and year 2, I'm not going to subject myself to it in year 3. I thought it was just them changing things up and miscalculating the progression difficulty, but a pretty clear pattern has emerged. They got me twice, but not thrice.

The progression system is nearly identical to April. The vendors that give max light gear at the ones that are relevant in this next expansion. No-one got you except perhaps yourself.

Editado por dojiijii: 9/27/2016 9:45:30 AMCoE and raid drops after April were up to 5 light levels above your current level, until you were within 5 of the max. That is absolutely NOT the case now. Bungie nerfed progression intentionally, almost certainly because they have nothing to offer us until spring at the earliest and need to keep us occupied. Since there's a tragic lack of content, that means GRIND.

They actually said after 350 progression will be harder. Do you really expect to waltz to max light in 1-2 weeks?
-
Editado por dojiijii: 9/27/2016 9:50:36 AMI never said anything like that, don't try putting words in my mouth. What I said was prior to RoI (ironic initials there) 5 hours/12 drops would have been worth something. And come spring it will be again. Remember this next spring when they fix the progression (again).

Progression is fine. As of 1 hour ago ROI has been around for 1 week and you've increased 19-20 light in that time. That seems fine to me. The problem is the raid was released too early. This upcoming Friday would have been better.

Editado por dojiijii: 9/27/2016 10:06:08 AMI bought my way to 350 using stored up legendaries I broke down for marks, and exotic engrams. Then I grinded heroic strikes all week for 4 light levels. Not worth it. The real problem is Bungie forces us to put in a hundred hours in order to play the content we actually want to play. If the grind wasn't so burdensome then people wouldn't be so eager to find ways around it, like cheesing Omnigul.
-
They don't force you to do anything. Play something else.

Editado por dojiijii: 9/27/2016 10:11:01 AMYou finally get it. Good game design this, driving their customers to play something else.
-
Driving some not all. I play for fun nothing else.

Editado por dojiijii: 9/27/2016 10:20:13 AMPlaying the raid is fun. Doing strikes is fun. Playing the same content over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over to get to a level sufficient to do the raid isn't fun, it's tedious. If the game didn't suffer from such lack of content it wouldn't be an issue.

Yet so many people find it fun.

And so many more have gotten sick of Bungie's bullshit and are calling them on it in reviews or forum posts or reddit articles, or are just giving up on the the game entirely. If you enjoy the repetitive nature of the game then more power to you; I played 1000+ hours myself in year 1. But this post wasn't for you, it was for Bungie. I'm letting them know I recognize what they're doing, and calling them out for it. By all means keep playing as long as you're having fun, but mark my words, once you've been through this cycle a few times you'll get fed up with them too.
