365+ ghost shells
My ghost shell is holding me back. Can anyone recommend a way to get ghost shells past 365 light?

go to the plaguelands and enter the archons forge, the perfected will drop up to 400 light ghosts, i was 399 in all three characters, went into the CoO on the dreadnaught and it dropped a 400 ghost when i used a legendary rune whatever its called, but those are the best ways to get artifacts and ghosts

1 RespuestaI'm having the same issue. I can't seem to get a 365+ ghost no matter what I do. I've done over 20 vanguard and faction packages and Iron Banner, and the ghosts just aren't happening. Hours of grinding. Do they appear on armor or weapons packages? Are the ghosts rewards for level 1, 3, and 5 levels Iron Banner? I'm level 4 now. I hope level 5 will give me one. I see lots of people with the new Iron Banner shell.

2 RespuestasFor the first time ever I actually did the nightfall hoping to get a ghost! Damn RNG gave me 12 3oC... :-( Between my 3 characters I've ranked up the factions around 20 times since RoI and had one ghost drop.

2 RespuestasIf you have the strange coins to spend/ether seeds for Variks, buy a lot of Heavy Ammo synths and use them at your faction of choice. I don't remember if you need to do the Armor package to possibly get them but the factions are probably the fastest way to get them barring RNG hating you.

Can anyone recommend a way to get ghost shells past 365 light?[/quote] 6 raids and opened all 9 loot caches and 12 exotic chests, 6 nightfall, all vanguard and crucible bounties on all 3 guardians with rep booster, strikes, shaxx bounties on all 3 guardians, 0 ghosts. Pretty aggravated having 380 gear and a 368 ghost. Came here to see if people were having this issue as well. Guess I have to wait for next week and hope I don't get another 6 auto rifles, 6 fusion rifles, and 6 class items from raid, 3 rocket launchers from shaxx, or 33 3oC from nightfall.

ive opened prob around 40 - 50 faction packs but not gotten a ghost shell, so the drop chanse must be really low. Smart loot my ass im done

2 RespuestasYep it's the ghost shell that is holding me back that and a heavy weapon . Even ranked up eris morn and got another class item . Now 368 with a 364 ghost and 366 heavy .

I got a 366 ghost from a NM Chroma package and another 366 from a Vanguard Armor package... Mine was 365. The ghost grind is real...
