I do. I hate feeling pigeonholed into a subclass or weapon type. It's just annoying to me. It's the exact same loadout for the entire week.
Want to try out that new weapon? Too bad. Hate using that subclass? Tough. Unless, of course, you want to be left alone after every strike, because your team is annoyed by your lack of conformity. And unless you're a defender Titan, you ARE effectively handicapping your team ... So they have a point in their annoyance with you.
Sure it helps get through some higher end stuff, but it hurts just as much more often than not. Ugh.
Maybe I'm alone in my contempt for burns, but I thought I'd see what the consensus was.
Edit: Good points. Thinking about it, my hatred for burns only started when they became attached to a week-long activity ... And the one which yields better rewards. RNG the modifiers, and I'd be good with them again.

It'd be pretty cool if they outright changed the heroic playlist to like a weird roulette. Different modifiers for each strike, so even if you get stuck with valus twice in a row one time he may have solar burn, the next it could be arc. Sometimes small arms, sometimes secondary. Keeps people on their toes and forces them to pay extra attention. Could be a bit frustrating at first but it would be pretty fun to me.

I normally love burn modifiers. I used to never run the weekly Heroic strikes but once they started adding modifiers to them I run them all the time. That being said, it has been kinda a pain this week because we have new content and a ton of new weapons and I haven't been able to test any of them out because I am running Supercell and my arc special/heavy. But like I said, otherwise I am a fan. Once I know these new weapons it won't bother me.

I agree, I want to see random modifiers on heroic strikes each time. Or at least change them every day. I hate being stuck using arc weapons all week
