1. Offerings come in three varieties, but I believe you can only carry one at a time.
2. They appear to be nontransferable through the app (do any third party apps have ability to transfer them?) so if you have, say, a perfected offering but you're around 345 light, better stop what you're doing so you can Go vault it and hope to completely randomly get a more level appropriate offering.
3. It's totally random if you'll find people there. I've had some success running down to the warrens and coming back up, but that still just seems sloppy - why put it so far away from the spawn? If it's supposed to be public, spawn the patrol in the area.
4. Even if you do find people, once you've used up your offerings (never seen personally more than 3 others there) you're all done unless someone at random has gotten an offering that is of doable level or some rando magically happens to come along with an offering
5. Maybe just RNG but it seems like I get better drops of I get a shot in the boss, but if you happen to be trying to kill some of the puddly adds that still spawn in, or if you're reviving someone, very real chance teammate's with axes or gally rockets will have killed the boss before the done is half open leaving you out in the cold
6. Once again, bungie made an activity that could have been casual hectic fun for when a person has 3-4 friends online but absolutely no reliable way for them to actually play it together. And for the above limitations, probably not worth jumping through hoops trying to get two fire teams of friends together. At least in the court, you knew if you did finally get grouped together you could stomp baddies for as long as your heart contented (with the abundant stacks of tunes you could carry) not for 15 minutes until everyone used up their lone offering.
Sorry about the wall of text, but almost NOTHING about the way the forge was implemented remotely makes sense. Can anyone justify any of it?
Quick edit: this was mostly an exercise in slowing my own rage, but seems to have gotten some traction. Keep reading/commenting, maybe we can get a live look-in from Deej for some explanation

3 RespuestasThe rewards suck. It just feels like a waste if time. Oh yeah it doesnt increase rep for ANYTHING.

I agree 100% and you took the words right out of my mouth! Most people playing will have to be extremely lucky to ever be able to experience the forge, in its current state! They are just too rare and the best way to "farm" them is to get super lucky to even get in the forge way out in BFE woth randoms who are hopefully high enough level, who hopefully have 1 offering a piece to actually give you a chance to get one to drop off them using theirs! ....yeah I could go on and on, pretty much nothing at all makes sense about this new event they made for us to enjoy! Pretty -blam!-ed up, maybe they will starting selling them at ever verse in the future lmao ...scumbags

2 RespuestasI think archons is pretty hilarious if you exploit it. I've been playing using the 'rando method' for two days with some amount of success and you really don't need an offering for a reward. Plus it's worth bounty rep, so there's that. I head into the pit, which is always empty. I head down to the warrens, I wait until "The Warrens" disappears from the screen to make sure I'm out of the archon. Then I slowly return. When you see red on your radar, as you return, I slowly walk until I'm in the game with randos. Hi randos! If you're lucky, you can toss a grenade the second that dome cracks open and get a reward. I know you're busy killing stuff, but you should try to get a hit in on the boss. After the boss is cleared, kill any ads that are left because they still drop. Quite a few times I've received siva offerings laying about, if you look around, ammo, orbs, and you can keep it going for an hour if you are with a strong rando team. If no one has an offering, collect ammo and orbs, and head back down to the warrens, rinse and repeat. I've received a 365 fusion which is amazing. Also a 365 sniper. Up to a 370 cloak and 365+ bonds. 365 Hadron Gale chest armor, which is hideous. And legendary engrams. All the time spent was worth the Saladin's Vigil fusion rifle, which is bonkers and a hilarious weapon to use. Bungie made it suck the way you have to glitch into a team and also how it's very time consuming. I'm going to say it's a decent farming method. I suck terribly and all my characters are 365+ now.

1 RespuestaYeah it's bungo'ed as usual No drops unless you hit boss and scrubs kill boss before dome is even partway open I have not had luck in coming and going No rewards even if you put in offering again scrubs jumping down and killing boss asap Would love to bring my fireteam in but no Court was not too bad except for lack of rewards

5 RespuestasFor number 5, you cannot get rewards unless you get a shot on the boss

Editado por Mr F: 9/25/2016 11:52:03 PMPersonally it's worked well for me. If you do the walking in I find 8 times out 10 I get matched with at least 2 others. Many times there is 6 of us there and most rounds at least 1 person gets another offering so the mayhem continues. 3 times I've gone there and only left once my slots and my postmaster are full and there are hundreds of blues/ greens on the floor.
-
1 RespuestaRan three earlier and got a blue engram and blue legs at 340. Wtf
-
Did it like 8 times got jack Never thought I'd say that Coo was better.
-
My only issue is that although I've completed 35 Forge offerings, and they've all been fun with decent rewards, only 2 of those have been captain offerings. At this rate it'll take me an age to complete Shiro's bounty.
-
11 RespuestasMy issue is that any bosses but the perfect ones have NO health, they die before the dome even opens all the way. But the perfected ones have TONS of health. Why not scale it? Court of Oryx is pretty balanced in that sense, why not put the same mechanics in here?

Editado por checkawitz: 9/25/2016 10:57:33 PMLast night was first time people were there I had 1 offering since that's all I could hold we did 3 things everybody left definitely need to hold more then 1 that and all the new stuff they have are confusing
-
I just like the warlock armor. All I need is the legs and I'll have a full set
-
5 Respuestasis it possible to start the raid like on venus then go do archons forge with 6 people? its what i would do
-
1 RespuestaI don't understand. CoO was a good addition but needed improvements. With Archon's Forge they had a chance to do that, and did the opposite.
-
4 RespuestasIt would be nice if you could go directly there with a fireteam of 6
-
It's the most pathetic thing in destiny
-
Archon forge is pretty fun... If you could FIND other people!
-
Only issue I have is only having one offering at a time. Maybe I've been lucky.
-
When roi went live. You could transfer them.
-
We just spent 2 hours playing the forge with 6 people and it was amazing. We all started with offerings and then just kept it rolling with drops. It took us about 20 minutes to get in the same lobby but after that it was awesome. We had 1 person sit in an empty lobby and the the other 5 of us slowly zoned in until one of us landed in the same lobby and then the other 4 of us just joined their fire teams.
-
To be honest those are not the only issues. Drop rates are horrendus. I got literally nothing for all of my offerrings, not even a legendary engram. However, for my friend's offering, and while I was dead and respawned in the offering cage to put a splicer key in to join the fight, I got sniper rifle. FYI, sniper rifle is awesome and I have been loving it. But, court of oryx always dropped something for your own offerings and rarely dropped good stuff from others.

8 RespuestasArchon's Forge is a good example of how Bungie can still botch game design. This is their third horde mode for Destiny and their third failure. (Prison of Elders and Court of Oryx were their first two failures.) Let's not wait until Destiny 2 to fix this. Make Archon's Forge work now.
-
Bungie should start allowing 6 man patrols.
-
They dropped the ball on this one for sure.
