Archon's Forge decisions are absolutely baffling
1. Offerings come in three varieties, but I believe you can only carry one at a time.
2. They appear to be nontransferable through the app (do any third party apps have ability to transfer them?) so if you have, say, a perfected offering but you're around 345 light, better stop what you're doing so you can Go vault it and hope to completely randomly get a more level appropriate offering.
3. It's totally random if you'll find people there. I've had some success running down to the warrens and coming back up, but that still just seems sloppy - why put it so far away from the spawn? If it's supposed to be public, spawn the patrol in the area.
4. Even if you do find people, once you've used up your offerings (never seen personally more than 3 others there) you're all done unless someone at random has gotten an offering that is of doable level or some rando magically happens to come along with an offering
5. Maybe just RNG but it seems like I get better drops of I get a shot in the boss, but if you happen to be trying to kill some of the puddly adds that still spawn in, or if you're reviving someone, very real chance teammate's with axes or gally rockets will have killed the boss before the done is half open leaving you out in the cold
6. Once again, bungie made an activity that could have been casual hectic fun for when a person has 3-4 friends online but absolutely no reliable way for them to actually play it together. And for the above limitations, probably not worth jumping through hoops trying to get two fire teams of friends together. At least in the court, you knew if you did finally get grouped together you could stomp baddies for as long as your heart contented (with the abundant stacks of tunes you could carry) not for 15 minutes until everyone used up their lone offering.
Sorry about the wall of text, but almost NOTHING about the way the forge was implemented remotely makes sense. Can anyone justify any of it?

I have put in 3 perfected offerings have gotten nothing but a cloak for my hunter. You should at least be guaranteed something. Total bs

100% agree and it's a huge bummer because as soon as you get it going it's a total blast.

I got lucky using the Warrens method and ended up finding a group of six. They invited me to a party and I invited 3 more people. We had 9 people running it for 2 hours. Got the book done, got the bounties done, and now all I need to do is grind for that gear.

Know what u mean I go to the area for public events and no one is rarely in there. I agree about the bosses, I think if u r contributing to the battle u get rewarded, same happened to me everyone got shots on the boss and if your shots don't get in u spent ur offering and got nothing. At least court ur rune u got the best rewards or at least the most. Tbh, it would be worth the time if it rewarded like the court. People r farming the court for Eris rep for artifacts. Again another area being farmed outside the RoI DLC.

4 RespuestasToday I did 2 perfected Vandals. The first I offered and all I got was a blue, someone else offered and a I got a cloak. Then another cloak on an enhanced one. I offered. I literally have only gotten cloaks from archons forge so far.

6 RespuestasYeah man, I love the event, but why only allow us to carry one? So weird...I ran a perfected captain earlier with like six guys and we didn't beat it...bummer. Just couldn't get him down fast enough. I was around 350...not sure about the other guys.

Its a totally ridiculous system and they obviously need to change it. Worse thing is you can't transfer the offerings with the app, so even if you have one on another character you have to go back to the tower to transfer it.

3 RespuestasIt's definitely more challenging than CoO but the drop rate for offerings is just stupid. If there is no one there, try going into the warrens area then come back to the forge. It seems to work at resetting the lobby and people will be there.

The forge really has to be the best idea executed terribly by bungie so far in my opinion. Also do the drops cap at 365? Or is it only perfected offerings that if you even get an item come at 365+

3 RespuestasHad 7 people sitting around in the Forge earlier because no one had an offerings - and that was after we all had one from start. Shit never drops. I spent a good two hours in the plaguelands before I got my first one today.

3 RespuestasI've had offerings drop during the session. Is this happening to others? I did not actually see it drop, but I know it did because: (a) you can only carry one in there. (b) I've inserted more than one into the terminal during the one session. (c) I think others did too, but I'm not sure.

1 RespuestaI have done roughly 40-50 archons forges and I have gotten 1 bit of unique gear (gauntlets for Titan) excluding marks. This is starting to get ridiculous at least T3 CoO basically guaranteed a artifact for the summoner...

Not to mention you get a ton of shitty green and blue drops that fill up your available inventory slots and eventually your postmaster, so when (if) something of value (legendary) finally drops you may never see it. On the bright side, you do get to shard green class items at 190 light for an hour after. GG.

They should combine the offerings and the coO runes together, so you can carry alot and do whatever you choose to do. Make tier 3 and teir 2 CoO runes stackable too. So there is less clutter.

I didn't know the top area closed off when you offered, so I sat right on the edge and got stuck in the door. I had to kill myself, Then use a key to get in.

3 RespuestasThe ability to transfer it via an app was restricted when people discovered it could be cheesed. I do agree the entire idea is very flawed though. Especially since some of the things wrong were also present with the court of oryx.
