I didn't see anyone else mentioned this so there might not be very many 360+ guardians. It should be noted that legendary engrams, from my experience as a 369 warlock, have a cap at 365. Meaning that the only way to get higher than 365 is to A: decrypt exotic engrams B: open packages C: Open strike chest with skeleton keys or D: complete the raid. Artifacts are particularly annoying because it's completely up to our RNG whether you get one or not.
Thought this was worth pointing out since it was ridiculous to me.
*(B: was supposed to be packages lol, I fixed it.... A day later)

2 RespuestasI have this problem too. Not even exotics have decrypted higher than 365 for me.
-
It was in the patch notes... Learn to read

I don't mind the 1-3 light per upgrade. I'm just not deep enough into it. I've put in maybe 4 hours in RoI since launch due to life and stuff. I will say what gets me is my light is 350, and today for a pubic event, I got a purple engram for arms. My arms are 350 light. I hoping for a 351-352 arm upgrade! I get a 350 ACD/0 Feedback Fence. Now I like those arms, and they look super sweet with my shader, but I didn't get a light upgrade. That's kind of annoying. Now I can imagine a lot of folks frustrations as this happens a lot to them over and over again. Or being held back by Ghosts and Artifacts. It's cool that 350 is the starting point for end game, but the mountain climb to 365 seems pretty daunting for most casual scrub lords like me (no, not you uber casuals who have already beaten the raid several times with your raid teams or have played for 50 hours in the first week, casually =P) I'm curious to see what the actual light level for Trials and IB rewards will be.
-
It's really easy to hit 365 there has to be some challenge to hit max light I'm 374
-
Wow how attentive. Clearly read the patch notes which stated this exact thing.
-
Still pretty easy to progress. Just hit 370 this morning. I just run strikes, use 3oC, rank up vanguard and faction, and get the occasional skeleton key. I'm still climbing a light or two after playing for 1-2 hours. Had the Maloc strike drop me a 373 blue artifact and 320 light offerings can drop higher than light artifacts too.
-
1 RespuestaThey were never meant to open higher than that. 340 for blues, 365 for purples, 385 for exotics. Strike blue can go up to 365 for blues though, and strike legendary items can go to 385 I think.
-
1 RespuestaI like how the new leveling system is. It keeps most ppl from being max light in the first week.
-
9 RespuestasDoesn't this new system screw over PVP players? If you are a PVP player, do you know rely heavily on PVE to level up? Which is an absolute step backwards from the April Update?
-
7 RespuestasDon't understand you people. It's the fastest DLC to cap since the game launched. Exotic engrams quite literally fall into my inventory faster than I can effectively use them. Learn to use your brain as much as your thumbs. You have a wide range of tools for levelling. Use all of them, not just one or two.
-
3 Respuestasyea I'm already sick of omigul and I'm not even 365. I'm just gonna wait for iron banner where they'll probably drop up to 380 and just grind that before I try the raid.
-
I thought it was common knowledge. But I recommend to everyone with the discipline to wait until after 365 to cash in any exotics you have!
-
2 RespuestasThis only frustrates me because this is the first time in two years that reaching the normal raid recommendation requires a metric ton of grinding. At the very least if they planned on making the raid recommendation 370, legendary engrams should decode to 370. It's bs that you need to grind out factions just to get a decent primary so you can shoot down shanks faster...
-
5 RespuestasClass items higher than 365 will drop fairly regularly from Archons Forge, can get 365 + artifacts through leveling up eris, Can get 365 + weapons from leveling up Gunsmith, Nightfall drops higher than 365. Just a few you missed.
-
1 Respuesta365 plus from any rep rank up package, crucible post game rewards, raid, nightfall, exotic engrams, plenty of options. Even Queen rep gave me a 376 helmet after I killed 100 taken to rank up.
-
5 RespuestasTheres some easy ways to get artifacts. Crotas bane level up and skeleton keys chest usually give light appropiate artifacts.
-
18 Respuestasyet another poor design choice for RoI. Basically this forces players back into the loot cave aka Omnigul in order to progress to 370+. LFG is already asking for 370+ for raid and nightfall Skeleton Key drop rate is so frickin low this is not viable for leveling up in a consistant manor RoI seems like its 2 steps back from the April update in terms of players feeling like they are making progress towards endgame activities, and max light
-
4 RespuestasSkeleton key + Valus Tu'arc = high chance for high light level artifact
-
Faction packages drop above 365 to a cap of 385 to your current light level, after that I believe it's all exotic engrams and maybe skeleton key chests, not sure about the chests Tbh and obviously there's the raid and regular crucible dropping high light gear NF and crucible weekly NF tier
-
Editado por Tri-Dragon47: 9/26/2016 6:53:06 PMYou do not need strikes to try get legendary engram if you tries get over 365 lights. But you stilll can get legendary weapons drop that higher than 366 at playing any PvP match. Try to get packages as well. Since that you get weapons from PvP then for package get gear only.
-
B and C were the same... You forgot factions
-
I've been saving some engrams and haven't reached 365 yet, so thanks for the heads up.
-
Packages on all factions also drop higher than 365
-
It's the transition to endgame. After legendary engrams it's the raid and or Trials/IB
-
Omnigul got grinded
-
literally everything else gives you higher
