Archons Forge Seems Very Pointless.
I've done this twice now and got nothing but blues.
You're better off just doing 350 strikes.. at least those blues drop at high light.
Edit: I've done the Perfected version on the Forge about 6 times and I have only gotten a bunch of blues and like 2 titan marks, which where barely higher light then what I had.
The only reason I'm doing it at all is to get in done in the book.

1 RespuestaI put a 360 light siva offering. Everyone got the sniper BUT me. I got 1 blue engram as my reward. They need. To change the reward mechanics on archon forge. If YOU place the offering at the very least YOU should get Something when you beat it guaranteed. The others should be random like it is cuz it isnt their offering. It makes using your own offerings sketchy at best.

So many poor design choices are killing it. The drop rate of offerings, only being able to hold 1 at a time, losing it when you don't complete it, no guaranteed rewards for the user, etc. They had the perfect formula in the court....why change it? [spoiler]The grind, that's why.[/spoiler]

5 RespuestasI agree that it's pretty bad. Even if the rewards were good - it's too much of a hassle. You can only hold one offering, so it's unlikely that a group of people will hang around long enough for a big group to exist. People go in, use one, then leave. If you fail, you lose it... Random people who show up need to use a key to get in. It's a million miles away from the spawn point. There are too many terrible design choices for this to ever be popular or fun.

21 RespuestasI call BS on you doing the perfected forge 6 times. One, the offering drops are super rare for those. Two, the regular enemies are 360 light with the boss being 370. I tried one (with the only perfected offering I've received) with 5 total people (all of us about 350 light) and we barely got the boss's health down by 25%, even with the use of the relics.

I managed to get 2 purples out of AF, but like 1 LL higher than my current gear, so :( I played 11 times to get that gear and I put a key in 4 times. From what I hear the gear drops aren't tied to difficulty / rarity of the offering

2 RespuestasThere's no way the drops in Archon's Forge won't be changed. To not give the guy with the offering something? To give others worse gear than they have? It's lame. Super fun event, but lame rewards.

Hung around there for about half an hour yesterday, didnt see a single guardian. Its a shame, i was looking forward to the forge.

1 RespuestaI did a blue tier and got a blue engram, but some random who joined at the last moment got an Archon's Forge piece, yet I was the one who started it.

It would be fine as is, but it doesn't drop near enough offerings. Every offering completion should be guaranteed to award the lowest level, with a chance at an RNG mid-high tier from the boss. We had a group of six go in, but we were completely out of offerings in 15 or so minutes.

6 RespuestasNot true. I've completed the forge over 40 times and the drops can be quite good. You will typically get a slew of bonds, marks and cloaks. But also a lot of legendary and sublime engrams drop. More importantly you can snag some iron banner weapons. I received the fusion rifle and my mate got the sniper twice. Overall it's quite enjoyable. Very chaotic and fast paced. Did around 15 in a row with some guys earlier.

I feel like its hard to get people . Say you have 5 people in the place before it but there is a section swap right at the forge so all tho 5 people you know want to do it are gone and your alone

1 RespuestaI don't know, I did a few rounds and I had tons of fun. A couple of those were with 5-6 randoms and it was a cluster-blam!- in the best way. To each their own but I'll never understand why so many people care solely about the loot of an activity rather than the activity itself.
