That's honestly one of the most bigoted ways you could grant anyone the freedom to choose their life. The genitalia that a baby is born with is [i]obviously[/i] going to influence their decision. I've never read such hate-fuelled ignorance. The only way we can possibly do this fairly is by ultrasound communication with the foetus [i]before[/i] they develop any genitalia. That way their mind isn't unfairly swayed by the sprouting of some oppressive micropenis.

So, let me get this straight: In fear of an inability to escape being stuck in a label, you'd have a baby be stuck in a label due to their own inability? I honestly don't think that anyone on this planet can seriously have such terrible logic, so I'll try to be as respectful as possible in explaining what I'm saying. A transgender determines that they feel that they are the wrong gender through their experiences, which a baby lacks in. In addition, the baby doesn't know what they're choosing, so that's just a stupid ritual that means absolutely nothing whatsoever. So if a baby points out their new gender, they may be stuck in that gender because of their inability to know what the hell is going on. Then, that baby might grow up and feel like they're the wrong gender. It's almost as if nothing's changed. It doesn't make sense. Forcing people to pick a gender is counterproductive to what you're trying to accomplish. Let the doctors do their job and name the baby's gender based on their physiology. The baby can grow up and do what they want later.
