Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you a-live from Rapture! Things are wonderful here, advances in science and technology, genetic modification, and our lovely ruler; Andrew Ryan! We may be under the sea, folk, but you'll be overwhelmed!
Ohohohohoho!
However, if there were anything that scares me down here--aside from rain--it'd definitely be those hulking mechanics, and Little Sister bodyguards! Yes, you know who I'm talking about! The Big Daddies!
-If a Big Daddy ever goes beserk, and you happen to have some proximity mines, and a flammable gas cylinder, a very good way to defend yourself is to place the proximity bombs on the gas cylinder, and use a Telekinesis Plasmid to throw them at your attacker, in what I like to call; a BD Bomb! The more bombs you use, the bigger the boom!
-Aside from BD Bombs, if you for whatever reason have a shotgun on you in our wonderful city, Electric Bucks are highly effective, assuming you have enough to last the fight!
-Armor Piercing Rounds in any gun will definitely hurt like hell, but won't really stun them at all, not giving you much time to move around!
-Telekinesis Plasmids are great for grabbing a Rosie's proximity bombs, and throwimg them back, but make sure to dodge their Rivet Gun!
So fellow citizens of Rapture, are you prepared to defend yourself if one of these behemoths go beserk? If so, how? :)

1 RespuestaI would have called this post "Help with Big Daddy issues" you'll get way more attention that way :-)

1 RespuestaIt's just a shame that Irrational shut down after Infinite debuted. I read on Wikipedia the most recent entry had a very troubled production process that took many years. Also in an interview Ken Levine said he will never, ever, ever be involved with another Bioshock game. Hopefully whoever helms another entry can keep the legacy alive.

I used to get the crossbow with tripwires and I would use a bunch and then shoot a bouncer to have it charge at me. Their bodies just went across the area
-
1 RespuestaI beat the entire game using only wrench because I modded for it, even the final boss was easiest to kill with wrench

1 RespuestaElectric Buck in the Shotgun for Bouncers. If they get too close for comfort (which is their MO, so they will). Also, yes, Telekinesis for Rosies to deal with their frustratingly* infrequent mines. Otherwise, anti-armour rounds. *I can't tell you how many times I've had Telekinesis on hand (literally), only to receive more rivets to the face.

2 RespuestasI fight them with the wrench

1 RespuestaFire some prox mines at an explosive canister. Then use telekinesis to throw at BD. Finish with buck shot to the head.

2 RespuestasMy tip: play on easy mode

4 RespuestasEditado por Murph Tha Smurf: 9/20/2016 8:19:59 PMElectro Bolt, Crossbow, Electro bolt, take cover, pull bolt on crossbow/reload/shoot up eve, repeat. Used this to beat survival with no vita chambers in 5 hours last night. Before crossbow, electro shotgun can work but it's much more risky.

8 RespuestasHacking is your friend. I simply hack the alarms

5 RespuestasEasy. I just make sure i stock up on electric gel and i just stunlock them to death or close to so that i can save ammo. Before that well just use ap rounds or control big daddy
-
4 RespuestasMy tip: lots of trip wires. I agree with the electric buck and ap rounds too.

1 RespuestaGood stuff. I find the telekinesis plasmid highly effective as you described. Also it doesn't use a lot of eve.
