WARNING TO GAMESTOP PRE-ORDER PURCHASERS - READ THIS
I got the e-mail today from Gamestop with my code for what I believed to be the pre-order for Destiny: RoI. I followed the instruction in the e-mail and entered the code in the Xbox code redeemer and recieved.....
A $30 store credit.....?????
Then the instructions told me to go to the Xbox store to purchase the game.
NOPE
It is only available as part of a bundle for $59.95
Yes, I called them. Yes, they are looking into it. But the question is, will I get the new Gally like I am supposed to? (The answer WILL be yes, because I'm not leaving my local store until I get a code for it)
FAIR WARNING, people! You may want to check your stuff if you bought RoI from Gamestop. Like NOW!

Or just go to the RoI icon in game and use the GameStop credit there to purchase your game. It seems like they made it really difficult to buy just the add-on, but somehow really simple to rebuy the entire collection lol

5 RespuestasYou have to search around, but there is a rise of iron available that is not part of a bundle. When I first search for it, all I could find was the bundle as well. But the add-on is there by itself for $29.99

Go to the Xbox store and search for 'Rise of Iron' You'll see two options. One is part of the collection, and the other is the standalone RoI.

I got the $30 through gamestop but I still bought my rise of iron today u just buy from the rise of iron symbol on the planet selection screen and gave me the $30 option

I pre ordered a couple months ago and I was told to come back with my receipt on the 19th at night and they would give me the codes then.

Search for "Rise of Iron" or got to Xbox.com and search for and find the "Rise of Iron Pre-Order" and you should be able to use your credit to purchase the dlc. I know its a pain the ass as I had to search for the pre-order location myself because only Destiny the Colleciton shows up and the Rise of Iron shortcut only leads to that.

Hey there! Here is how this works..... You get your "store credit" from the instructions from GameStop. Now you go to the in game menu where the cinematic is on the planets screen..... Click purchase... It should let you use the 30 dollar credit towards the purchase... you will have to use another card for tax... You should get an email to your account stating you purchased Rise of Iron

1 RespuestaThis happened to me. Load the game, open the galaxy map. Click on the ROI hammer and complete your purchase. You will have a small download then your gtg!
