Before I begin I'd just like to note that this is by no means a serious suggestion. I was just bored and thought I'd try and throw something together. It's not that much I know but I hope some of you may find joy in reading this.

PROLOGUE
Time has passed since Oryx was slain in his realm. Word of his demise has spread across the darkness, enticing the hidden monstrosities out of their exiles, drawing them into view. There is a power void that must be filled.
Then came the SIVA. A true test of resolve and valour. We passed the test. Destroyed was the heart of the plague and the darkness driven back further. Another victory, another trophy for the Vanguard.
Yet the monstrosities crawl ever closer,
still only vague shadows dancing amidst the mist that is the darkness.
The sky is blue today, but is black tomorrow. For the first time the air seems crisp, the chortling of birds creating a calm aura. The tower is at peace.
Or so it seemed.
(The trailer would start here)
*TRANSMISSION*
"We tried to stop them..."
(The Tower appears, adorned with flames)
"But we underestimated their wrath".
(A Cabal drop ship hurtles past, crop dusting the surface)
"Power beyond imagination.."
(A close up on Zavala's face, as he takes cover with a fireteam)
"We stood as one, united in our bravery".
(Bullets/Projectiles whizz past Zavala's tired face, with enhanced brightness and slow motion effects)
"But alas, they overwhelmed us.."
(Zavala's Titans charge a mass group of Cabal and engage in Hand to Hand combat. All of Zavala's Titans fall, except for him.)
"First the wall came down..."
(Many Cabal surround Zavala and open fire upon him, but he uses Fist of Havoc and destroys a large number. However, he is then blown to the side by a projectile from a Cabal Dropship)
(As the Tank is about to kill Zavala Ikora hurls a Nova Bomb into it incinerating it.)
"Then our knowledge became useless..."
(Cayde then uses Shadowshot to pierce the engine of the Dropship, downing it)
"And our speed was all but gone".
(They stand together, with their enemy defeated).
"Yet we thought we had seen off the Cabal.."
Ending: (An enormous cabal warship emerges from the edge of the tower with an enormous Colussus in the Cockpit, and units surround the trio).
"But we were wrong."
"This is now the Sky of Fire Guardian, and the inferno calls out for you."
(Image fades out as the massive ship flies away leaving the trio surrounded by several drop ships and many units. The image of Emporer Valus Magni's elaborate helmet becomes the focus of the screen).
Mission 1: You head to the Tower and rescue the Vanguard.

3 RespuestasMore Cabal would be nice. As long as they don't do the "ancient enemy" shtick again. Have the Cabal get reinforcements from the home fleet or something, with new enemy types that have never been seen by anyone in Sol before.
-
4 RespuestasWell, an expansion is 1 day old and you're already making up theories for a new one. Says a lot about how good it is.

1 RespuestaThe more I read the description of the trailer, the more intense, awesome, funny and epic it got.
LOVE IT
-
1 RespuestaWill you guys stop!? They do this, then someone tries to sue because it's 'their idea'
-
3 RespuestasI can easily see and imagine that trailer. Awesome stuff; you made me hyped on something that isn't real....for now, hopefully.
I'dlove a Cabal DLC by Bungie. Someday.
1 RespuestaEditado por RogueProgramEXE: 9/21/2016 8:15:05 PMGave me goosebumps bro. I WANT THIS TO HAPPEN!!!! Just imagining Cayde jumping up and pulling a shadowshot in a cinematic sounds so freakin cooooll

1 RespuestaEditado por Bump: 9/21/2016 4:02:52 PM-Fallen+cabal conflict in patrols -Infiltration public event: working with a fireteam against the clock to find a way to kill a high value ultra, finding a way to jump on a drop ship and hijack it. This includes puzzle mechanics using specific guardian abilities. (It would be cool to develop the utility of guardian abilities as more than just for blowing stuff up) -new exotic phalanx shield, grenade launcher, and chain gun, all heavy weapons -house of wolves, knowing already how to use vex Tech, seize it from vex on Mars and terrorize the red planet -new arena mode: colosseum. In this arena, however, you battle against a series of very tough bosses by yourself. There are no hoards, only the boss, but you have severe restrictions placed against you based on the boss. Some rounds will be random modifiers. You gain increased reputation from winning streaks, and by living through certain winning streaks you get specific exotic items. This way, you feel rewarded for obtaining exotics. Weapons: Cabal Projection Rifle: a different archetype of rocket launcher that shoots high velocity rockets at a fast rate of fire, at the cost of high blast radius and damage. It holds significantly more ammo than a regular rocket launcher, and ramps up damage slowly based on how many kills you get in one life. Cabal shield: a type of sword that blocks any and all damage without using ammo, but you can't attack with it. Good for moving from cover to cover and tanking damage for your team while they escape from danger. Taking damage gives you ammo. When you have 45 rounds, you can create a large blast around you, like a cabal ultra stomp, which knocks back enemies and makes them target you specifically for a short period of time. It can be paired nicely with bladedancer, as the weapon takes a long time to holster and QuickDraw aids with that immensely. Cabal mini gun: a type of machine gun that has regenerating ammo in one magazine of 70, and it doesn't reload. It spins up like a mini gun and loses accuracy and stability the faster it's fired. You have a decrease in agillity while holding the gun. However, it has much higher than normal dps for the high rate of fire machine guns, making it very good against large targets like bosses, not as much against small mobs, since it's not easy to land these shots. The more kills you get in one life the faster you recharge shots and the tighter your initial accuracy is, making it a gun with a lot of potential as long as you survive

3 RespuestasThe tower being attacked has been milked so much that any idea, no matter how good, seems cliche now :/

2 RespuestasBoi a new dlc just came out
-
3 RespuestasDude, sick af. I can picture it all happening in my head, so clearly explained.
-
5 RespuestasShit, I've been meaning to do this for a long time
-
3 RespuestasROI should have been a cabal dlc honestly, I get that Siva makes the fallen a bit different, but why not make it so the cabal found Siva instead?
-
1 RespuestaSick idea dude! I would play this! I could literally see this all playing out in my head
-
2 RespuestasAwesome idea dude I think (how ever the RoI ends) that whilst the attack is repelled and the tower recuperates a group of fallen colored in yellow approach the vanguard a baron then speaks in a peaceful tongue "we wish not to fight but instead come to offer aid and a truce into repealing the cabal menace" of course the vanguard is both caught off guard by their offer; they we're also skeptical. Eventually (I'm lazy) they come to an agreement where the deal is the House of Kings help the last city and the guardians, they are to be let in and accepted as citizens of the last city. With hard decision the vanguard agrees. So on and so forth you get a new vendor the baron/baroness and on few of the missions you get the aid of the house of kings (other factions such as the Devils, Wolves, and Exile still want to kill you) You eventually find out the true meaning of the Kings after the defeat of the cabal. To be closer to the traveller and to be blessed by the light again. Raid you gain the full support of the kell himself (just as side character doing support off screen) to fight the valuas or Primus (idk which is higher) After the story missing a new social area will be available The House of Kings Lair (something small at least only 3 new vendors the kell himself being one of them) offers weekly bounties and so fourth and special events. Oh and the baron/baroness would remain at the tower and a large amount of fallen NPC's are walking around the tower showing the vanguard keeping their promise Oh yeah or besides the social space the kell would then become a new vendor at the tower and take position with the vanguard in the battle room

5 RespuestasA cabal dlc needs space battles. Their greatest strength is their fleet. We need to take that head on. If D2 is a new start, I could see the Tower being destroyed. Then Mercury will be the new social space.

2 RespuestasEditado por WarriorReturned: 9/20/2016 2:39:35 AMI really enjoyed this concept. However, it seems a bit too similar to the idea of retaking Felwinter's Peak to me. In my opinion, rather than taking the Tower back, we could be on the Tower discussing recent Cabal activity with Cayde, Zavala, Ikora, and the Speaker. All of a sudden, an alarm could sound, causing mayhem all around you. I think this could be where your idea really becomes apparent: you'd have a smoldering landscape, being pummeled by intense enemy fire. (Side Note: It would be really cool here if this turned into a public event type of mission, where you're in a raid-size fire team fending off the invasion.) After awhile, we could start witnessing new types of Cabal - extra content - laying siege, using new forms of artillery. This would be the moment where we realize we're too weak to defend any longer. Now, this is where it gets a bit unimaginable in my eyes. We could incorporate some sort of plot foundation. Whether that means the Speaker being spotlighted as a traitor and joining the Cabal, or either Cayde, Zavala, or Ikora being captured; this would be important. Our guardian would be forced to evacuate. Bungie could get a bit creative here too, as it would be a unique situation where actually controlling your plane to escape could occur. It would be exhilarating to fight through a slew of Cabal ships for the first time, well, ever. It's a lot of additional stuff, but I think it works well with your idea. 🙂

1 RespuestaI feel like it would be a psion piloting the ship just cause standard cabal aren't really known for their... intelligence

1 RespuestaBungie needs to hire this man.
