Black Spindle's special white nail perk needs to be reverted back to its CE status. The perk was "reworked" because it was too exotic of a perk for a legendary weapon (I guess shooting through knight shields was fine for a legendary though...) and then when the black spindle was made with the exact same perk it felt like a legendary...
I mean I don't mean to call out any specific weapon here, but bad juju makes bullets appear out of thin air and so does no time to explain. What? Can only pulse rifles make bullets magically fall out of your ass? You even have the perfectionist perk that makes ammo fall out of people's asses when they get a precision kill with every shot in the mag. You have super good advice and pocket infinity that literally make bullets appear in your magazine out of nowhere.
Let's be honest here and be objective about this because it makes no sense at all. The black hammer perk needs to be un-nerfed.

1 RespuestaI'd make it so that after 3 consecutive critical shots, two bullets are pulled from your reserve and one just appears from the nether. Black Hammer was too campy, especially when fighting spider walkers or Cabal tanks.

Well it was a main gun for anyone wanting to do boss dps since it released. So by those standards it's fine. There's no reason to get more reasons to use it

12 RespuestasNah. It's not nessecary and would allow camping forever. I'm not a fan of that. People use the weapon a lot anyway, so why change it? It does its job well, so therefore it doesn't need a buff.

The perk is kind of like the perfectionist except without kills. I guess it could be like a slightly improved version for an exotic? IDK about the balancing, but it looked kind of fine in yr1 (besides the legendary part) This is just IMHO

I loved it but had to admit it's broken. Ammo should be a concern. Not always a pressing one. But a consideration.

They knew people loved it and wanted it to come back but they had to nerf it somehow. It was used to just burn the bosses in strikes and the King's Fall raid would have been too easy.

6 RespuestasI think it's more that the perk was utterly, horrendously broken in PvE. Nothing else could even vaguely compete with the highest DPS weapon also having infinite ammo. The perk is fine as it is, it's strong, but it can't be abused to obtain infinity sniper ammo.

It refills your mag automatically on full precision hits...sure it takes from reserves but its only fair. Perfectionist? Please ive procced that like maybe once its not an amazing perk to have bad juju and the not time to explain need either precision hits or a kill, and thats primary like who complains about having too much primary? the pocket infinity has a chance at returning ammo on misses and idk if you brought up supergood advice but...yeah nobody cares it gets its ammo back. Whitenail made encounters boring and the same which is why it got reworked. They do need to do something about heavy machine gun ammo like really only a mag and a half with heavy ammo perks.

They took the primary boss dps weapon arch type and made a weapon geared towards being even better at it. I'd like to see it either have triple tap and then have white nail grant an additional bullet on a single precision kill. This would give it extra dps on bosses but make it more viable in use on adds. Alternatively converting white nail into double tap. Just like triple tap except too precision hits. Reserve ammo might have to be reevaluated with this option.

Yeah, it would've been nice to at least see BH be what BS is now and BS be now what BH was. Would've been truly worthy of the exotic slot.

Supercell makes ammo appear put of nowhere too. Only on double kills tho. When it's a group of weak enemies, like thrall, acolyte, etc. I usually don't stopped shooting until they are all dead because I regenerate ammo. I do agree white nail needs to go back to the original
