It's by far the most pathetic super in PvP...and well not as flashy as others and it's only PvE saving grace is self revival. I can think 1 simple thing to enhance Radiance and make it feel more super. As well as rapid cooldown for your grenades and melee...why not amplify both grenades and melee as well? Make your melee while charged an aoe hit. Solar grenades are twice their normal size, firebolts gain their old burn back and enhanced range(only in Radiance), and fusions have enhanced speed and tracking.
All of these only while Radiance is active of course. It would make the super well...more useful in PvE and be more daunting to face down in PvP.

2 RespuestasThat sounds good, but that would probably make it too OP for it to be a support class
-
But OP.... Radiance IS a good buff...

Editado por Swiftlock: 9/20/2016 12:45:27 AMI actually think Radiance is fine. It's a passive super that demands smart thinking and careful planning in order to get the most use out of it. The REAL issue is that Sunsingers should have a very powerful neutral game to compensate for a non-damaging super. DoT is what made Sunsingers so threatening. It was the heart of the subclass. Bungie decided to pull their heart out and gave them nothing to properly make up for it. That's not how balance works.

1 RespuestaThey need to just un-nerf sunsinger.
-
8 RespuestasRadiance has a ohk melee already
-
Subclass needs a rework from the ground up
-
I think it's fine, you're a walking beast if you pop that, the fact that people only run self res isn't the subclasses fault. If you run the ram helm and the perk that gives you extra armor while the super is active you're untouchable. It's more of a support super than an aggressive one, you don't see an overabundance of defender titans in pvp either, but that doesnt mean it needs to be fixed.
-
8 RespuestasNah man, have you seen the mayhem you can cause with sunbreaker gauntlets, touch of flame solar grenades??!
-
1 RespuestaIt needs a few extra seconds if you're running radiant skin
-
They do more damage melted is a one shot and the grenade can come close if not kill a super. They need. I buff it's just a lame subclass.
-
1 RespuestaI think Sunsingers need a fundamental redesign
-
No, I don't want it buffed and I exclusively play Warlock. Seriously, a buff to radiance will only result in a massive nerf ("balance") and make the entire subclass a damn brick...
-
3 RespuestasRadiant will and hopf work fantastic in PvE. Self res is a crutch for poor players in PvE. Not as much use in pvp as other supers easily kill a sunsinger. I doesn't need a buff though.

With how ridiculous skip nades are especially combined with tarantella 5 disc, firebolt grenades should be brought back to their former glory.
-
6 RespuestasNo. It's meant for support and can do work on PvP just fine.
-
Radiant skin is amazing in PVE orbs for days and massive amounts of kills or DPS to a boss
-
Editado por marXman916: 9/19/2016 3:15:50 AMWell you can use radiant skin, gift of the sun, max discipline and fusion grenades to run around the map and stick people
-
Primary weapon damage causes original firebolt burn...
-
As a Radiance warlock you can spam grenades and have a 1 hit kill melee... all this after returning from the dead... I think it's strong enough.
-
I would like a once per life revive all down team mates with radiance or once you activate your special everything around you burns up.
-
I don't think it needs a buff. I honestly think it needs a reworking. The whole subclass should just be reworked. Grenade and super should not mix. Also think bubble should be given an extra perk that just gives it some kind of offensive edge.
-
Yes, and Radiance should give a boost to speed as well.
-
If you self revive in PvE, you'd better be wearing the purifier robes or you're doing it wrong. Even then, self revive is the worst option.
-
Too many people use Radiance as a second chance when it can be so much more.

Editado por Swiftlock: 9/18/2016 7:15:52 PMI actually think Radiance is fine. It's supposed to be a passive super that requires a LOT of planning and smart tactics to take advantage of. Maybe the perks could be tweaked SLIGHTLY to improve Song of Flame and make it a more meaningful support super, but nothing too crazy. The real problem is that Sunsingers were supposed to have a powerful neutral game to compensate for a non-damaging super. DoT was the heart of what made Sunsingers so threatening. Bungie pulled the Sunsinger's heart out and gave them nothing to properly make up for it.
