Bungie did not mention anything in the many updates about bounties being modified/removed from my character's progress. So I expect them to remain unchanged.
Please return them.
While Bungie has a RIGHT to change anything they wish (they've demonstrated that time and time again), a courtesy notification of changes would be GREAT - as well as professional.
Should I expect less? Or was this just an oversight that will be corrected?

Last time I played IB I played one match on monday then cashed in all my saved IB bounties. Only had to suffer thru a couple matches and I was rank 5 haha. Regardless I earned those bounties and was able to keep em tell the next IB. I just think people are jealous that we can level up without using bounties and also avoid the next plague and just skip to rank 5 cause of it haha. A warning woulda been nice but unexpected from bungie as theyre trolls. I havent played IB for a couple months but I feel for the people who lost em for no real reason.

4 RespuestasNo they are never coming back, Bungie wants you to grind like everyone else
-
12 RespuestasI see you trying to get one step ahead of everyone else. Honestly it isn't that big of a deal, I had 3 myself but when they were taken away my initial thought was, "fair enough. Gg Bungie"

1 RespuestaHere's my thoughts. The new expansion is Rise of IRON. Iron Banner being a big part of year 3. Of course they are going to change it up for the new dlc. So what you got 'cheated' out of legendary marks. No big deal bro. Its not like you wont get more by playing. Yes, Bungie should have mentioned this , but really is it worth crying over?
-
I just kept mine for the LM. Wasn't happy they were deleted with out giving me the marks. They should have warned us so we could have at least cashed them in for the marks. BUT I was not surprised at all that Bungie didn't inform us. Not because it was "understandable". But because Bungie leaves out alot of things, it's typical.
-
10 RespuestasThey did warn us. I can't remember if it was a tweet or if it was in the news section of the app. But they did say so, and told everyone to turn them in. I forgot as well and lost them. Whatever.

70 RespuestasKeeping Iron Banner bounties in an effort to immediately gain fast rep and gear in the NEW Iron Banner is essentially "unethical", at least in video game standards. If they only gave marks, it would be different, but they give reputation. And if you didn't know that Iron Banner was going to be live the day Rise of Iron launches then that's what you get for not paying attention. Bungie told us that Iron Banner would be available as soon as Rise of Iron launched. Did you really expect to be able to cash in your weekly bounties and get free gear and rep without playing a single match? And people are complaining because they didn't get a notice about it. Really? That's like saying you got caught with you hand in the cookie jar and you're mad because the person that caught you didn't tell you ahead of time they were going to be looking.

39 RespuestasWhile I will say, a quick tweet when the internet was ablaze with talks saving bounties would have been super (because it would have cut down on time spent playing the last IB), I don't understand why everyone is so butthurt about the actual loss of the bounties. Why does everyone have a compulsive need to hit the max level 5 minutes after the expansion comes out? While I'm guilty of saving the bounties, I'm not upset about losing them. That was their decision, so be it. You'll have plenty of time and opportunity to rack up marks/progress your light level come next week. I don't expect Bungie to reply to or apologize for everything they do with THEIR game. As long as it works, they don't owe us anything.

Editado por Atomancer: 9/16/2016 11:23:53 AMI don't remember when they said this it was in the summer I think early august they said iron banner would change. All bounties would be removed and replaced with easier ones that give rep and gear. No more boon as they week goes on With no rep on the class, emblem, and shader. The first rise of iron game-type will be supremacy

4 RespuestasLet me start by saying this, I'm not hating here, I love this game, above all others. Period. In the very beginning I didn't understand how this game worked and I had a very bad opinion of it, I HAPPILY, JOYFULLY, GLEEFULLY admit Bungie won me over completely. See above ^ But this latest move, simply taking the IB bounties, with no warning!?!? We earned those rewards Bungie, and you know you could've easily put up a splash screen that told us "use 'em or lose 'em" and yeah we would've grumbled and griped but ultimately would've preferred that over basically, being robbed of the rewards we EARNED. Splash screens are easy Bungie, you do it all the time... just sayin... What makes it worse, is now you've introduced a bug (sans cute-ish animal name) that's not allowing us to recover from the IB/Marks debacle because we can't get Marks from the Heroics for going on two weeks now. C'mon MAN!!! I'm a DBA, I know how these things work on the back end, and I know you could restore some backups in a test environment, mine the data, and give us the rewards we earned, the question is, will you do it, or leave us hangin?
-
Well its one of those things I guess. Expecting Y2 bounties to count towards Y3 was a chance you took and unfortunately it didn't turn the way you expected. Can't fault bungie for this one
-
I think it was an oversight, and it won't be corrected. I think they removed them without thinking about the consequences, and there is probably no way to fix it now.

1 RespuestaThis is another example of why so many people get mad at Bungie for not properly communicating before or after something major happens. I'm not expecting a response on this. It would be nice though if we could at least get better laid out expectations when a release happens so there are no surprises. A simple heads up before the update on these bounties would have been much appreciated. Especially after their interview telling us that all bounties would remain untouched. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/212714197?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1

They deleted them and have made no comments about any recompense. They made a comment about it on Twitter and a post referenced it on here. They don't give a shit.
-
7 RespuestasYep- Bungie pulled an Asshole Move Of The Week with this one (deleting everyone's IB Weekly Bounties). I was saving mine for the marks and the rep towards the weekly crucible bounty. Typical Bungie bull shit...
-
3 RespuestasKeep in mind as well, why did they not remove the medallions you get from losing as well? I don't get marks but, I'll still get the reputation. It just makes no sense to remove one and not both. Just putting it out there.
-
After all that's been going around on this issue (even Crucible Radio's Swain was upset), I can't believe Deej didn't mention it in the TWAB. For all of those who want to chime in with support for the decision and talk down to those of us negatively affected, just give it up. This isn't the first post about this. All the ones before eventually shut down the negative people in spectacular fashion. Just try to see it for our perspective before galloping off on your high horse right into a tree.
-
3 RespuestasHate to say it but it's your fault you didn't cash them in, especially with a DLC/expansion coming out. If it was just an update I could understand but you can't expect to keep bounties that reward you with current light level weapons/gear. They even mentioned they were going to revamp iron banner.
-
2 RespuestasVanguard and crucible bounties weren't wiped...it wasn't a bug it was intentional. Bungie is probably changing iron banner bounties again to be more on par with kill confirmed...oops I mean Supremecy, sorry. I find it funny and worrisome that a company of Bungies size couldn't add new bounties without removing the old ones. Why can't they have a set of bounties for each mode? So it wouldn't matter what we save for next time because the mode will be different. They've limited our rate of progress since the beginning and it's getting old. As an example...I've been collecting patch A's and have only gotten a total of five, all but one were solar...still wanting a void version but don't think it's possible now.
-
1 RespuestaThe did say something about the bounties sorry you missed it look a little harder next time
-
Git gud scrub
-
1 RespuestaJust forget about it
-
Lol @ all the people saying holding onto completed bounties is cheese. It's not like people did nothing to complete them.
-
5 RespuestasYou know you're a bitch when you're trying to abuse a system to allow storing more than 200 marks going into a new DLC and then cry because Bungie said no. Who cares if they warned us? What would it change? Do you need those marks before the DLC? The answer is no. So you didn't lose shit.
-
3 RespuestasHate to break it to you, but the ToS we agreed to allows them to modify, patch, or update the Program without notice to us. Sucks.
-
4 RespuestasWell as the bounties and how iron banner works in RoI is changing I understand them taking them away. Now as you stated bungie has the right to do this as we all agree to the T's & C's where it clearly states " bungie has the right to change, remove or add new content as they see fit, without any warning to the player base". Now that last part people need to take note of. Yes we all grinded for those bounties in the hope they would carry over. Now in interview they did say they would carry over, but like the weapon tuning question I think there was a mis communication between IGN and the bungie employees. Yes it would of been good if they told but at the end of the day they don't have to tell us anything. Now if you believe this to be professional or not is up to you, why I don't see them doing anything wrong I do understand people frustration in the matter. But at the end of the day it bungie name on the opening and closing credits not ours.
