There needs to be some sort of huge reason to use both of them, stormcaller is somewhat overshadowed by voidwalkers when it comes to add control plus nova bomb has no orb cap. Sunsingers have radiance which basically define them. Strikers are basically good for pvp overall, and if you use a titan in pve, you are locked into being a defender for your team. Not to mention that they have only subpar exotics. They need a killer app or a defining role in destiny, look at nightstalkers, they came out as a huge help for the team and the other 2 subclasses are still used.
Tl;dr: Stormcallers and sunbreakers need some sort of niche in destiny
EDIT: i actually didnt know this post would be somewhat popular, I just thought about it, they are both reliant on their supers, just that Stormcallers have a good super.
-
Lol blade dancer is the worst roaming super in the game tho and a stormcaller can wipe a whole team
-
Storm caller for ad control the amount of orbs that super can create is unreal
-
3 RespuestasStorm callers have the best roaming super in the game with maybe the exception of golden gun in 6v6 pub matches. Storm caller melee range is longer than party crasher kill range. Storm callers get QuickDraw just for getting low. Don't get me wrong I like me some vampire lock but there are lots of reasons to use a storm caller. Sunbreaker kinda just sucks IMO. All they got going for them are good nades and a better super than blade dancer (because it's basically a ranged version of it) which isn't saying much seeing as blade dancer is the worst roaming super excluding self res.

5 RespuestasTake out Stormcaller from your post and I'll agree entirely.
Seriously, the only thing Stormlocks are lacking are decent grenades while their melee and super are absolutely destructive.
-
3 RespuestasActually sunbreaker is really good for solo play. Cauterize gives ur health back on just about any ability u use. And simmering flames is great if u use grenades alot. Im more worried about strikers in pve.
-
3 RespuestasYou don't realize that Sunbreaker is the main subclass used for speedrun. Due to its melee being able to multiply damage more than tether and the fact it's super allows you to tank and have heavy add control. Also, this is more opinion, but Suncharge is my favorite thing to get a kill with.

3 RespuestasEditado por AdligerAdler: 9/16/2016 8:41:19 PMNova Bomb has no orb cap? I never make more than 7 unless I'm using Light Beyond Nemesis. I think then it's 8.
-
Stormcaller grenades need a serious buff
-
3 RespuestasCome back to me after you watch this vid, and please tell me how the super is weak when you have skill, perfect timing, and the desire to avenge a friend. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Tigerstorm6/video/19840599

2 RespuestasStormcaller is fine in most aspects. very Balanced It's been my main since ttk. Only thing I have a gripe about is the ready time after throwing a grenade.
-
1 RespuestaNo matter what may come, Stormcallers are the best ad/crucible population control there is.
-
I would rather stormcaller stay overshadowed... makes it harder for bungie to nerf stuff
-
I use the subclass I want to use, We usually make the bad players use the team oriented subclasses like defender or nightstalker. Got to use them for something while the real players destroy shit
-
Let me guess, got hammered from shadowshot? ;(
-
Uhm....what?
-
2 RespuestasYou're saying voidwalker is better at add control than stormcaller? lol You naughty troll.
-
Editado por DonnyVBaybay: 9/15/2016 5:55:51 PMStormcaller is my favorite Warlock pve class. Here's what to do: Monte Carlo Claws of Ahamkhara Perpetual Charge Endless amounts of Melees/Grenades and the best ad clearing super in the game, and my personal favorite super for pvp(except mayhem then its GG) Sunbreakers are wicked fun in my opinion and are perfectly viable in pvp and pve(most cases you'll use Defender, but they can have their niche) They get access to some decent grenades, in PVP I like to use Fusion grenades(with Armanetarium or however you spell it) Hammers are a solid super in both pvp and pve and Simmering Flames is great for combatting trickle/getting grenade kills in COE.

1 RespuestaVoid walker better than stormtrance at add control? You sure?
-
9 RespuestasAs a warlock player, my only gripe about the Stormcaller is that it has no form of "defense", such as life steal or an overshield, unlike the other subclasses. That makes it harder for me to justify using it when the other subclasses simply have better sustainability in a fight. The one benefit to the Stormcaller is the fact it is a mobile super, which the warlock normally doesn't have. It has its uses for add control in large areas where a Nova Bomb can't get everything, but Voidwalker can handle dangerous clustered groups quicker and easier. Personally, I'd rather use Stormcaller for Crucible where the melee and mobile super are better suited and leave the other two subclasses in PvE where they can dominate more easily.

1 RespuestaBoth of damn amazing. I have never gotten closer to a seventh column than with hammers . And this was post nerf to them too.
-
1 RespuestaStormcaller's niche is the melee
-
Stormcaller are great in PVE and PVP. And nova bomb has a seven orb cap like every other super
-
Up a tree
-
1 RespuestaTerrible troll
-
2 RespuestasStorm caller .... Perpetual charge.. Claws of ahmakara... Unlimited fully charged Melee (x2) and grenades in pve is a thing..
-
Stormcallers and sunbreakers are already pretty powerful...
