A young woman walked into the lounge of the ship. A few of the soldiers stopped to stare at the woman, for she had on vibrant purple armor on her. She also had straight black hair, and purple eyes, matching her armor. One of the soldiers yelled over at her.
"What's up with the armor, lady? Ya look like a clown!"
Woman: "Please stop, Edwards. You do not want to make me angry."
Soldier: "Christ. Fine. Just trying to be funny."
The woman sat in a chair, seemingly a little pissed off.

Another woman already was in a seat nearby. She had lighter armor and a purple visor covering her face, a hood-like cloth over it. She looked over at the other woman, speaking after her silence during the little conversation. "If it makes you feel any better, I get comments for the armor too."
-
"Sucks, doesn't it? You wear just the slightest bit odd colored armor, and people are on your ass about it."
-
"Yeah, it's pretty annoying. I wish they'd stop asking about it."
-
"People don't ask me about mine. Just make fun of me for it."
-
"I've seen worse, though it is a bit.. Vibrant."
-
A man in a bright red and white suit walks in, his red mask covering his face. He scans the people inside for wounds. Then he walks up to the lady in purple.Hello.
-
"Um... Hi. Who are you? Haven't seen you before."
-
My name is Miner. I'm an expert healer.
-
"Nice to meet you, Miner. I'm Alice, Alice Tonak." She sticks her hand out to shake.
-
Miner shakes back, and he begins to remove his mask. Underneath are piercing brown eyes and dark hair.
-
"Glad to have you aboard. You're a medic, I would presume?"
-
Yes. An expert.
-
"Well then. We don't have many of those here. We'll need to recruit more... What brings you aboard?"
-
I seek to help those who need healing.
-
"That's it? You have no ulterior motives at all?"
-
Other than to be remembered as the best healer in the fleet, no.
-
"That's... Very noble. Though, I imagine, you will have no shortage of injuries to heal. These idiots can't keep themselves from getting hurt."
-
As I've seen already. I will be on the front lines. Presumably with you and some of the others I've met.
-
"Who else have you met?"
-
One man with pieces of Shrapnel in his leg, another who trained for 16 hours straight.
-
"Oh. I don't know either of them. I'll have to do so. So, how are you liking the ship so far?"
-
Well, I feel the training bots do not have powerful enough weapons. We need to be ready.
-
"I'm working on that. Trying to get some extra funding."
-
Well, I'm not an engineer, but try using solar power, seeing as we're in... space.
-
"Power's not the problem. The men upstairs don't think that we need better equipment."
