I was already annoyed enough that so much content in Destiny is inaccessible (and thus some of the best loot) to solo players as there is so much that has no matchmaking, like raids, trials, Challenge of the Elders, level 32, 34 and 35 Prison of Elders etc., etc., etc. I can’t complete half of the ‘Moments of Triumph’ book as most things in it require pre-organised fireteams. Now staring down the barrel of Rise of Iron with even more content contained, that I’ve paid for, yet I (and also so many other solo players) won't be able to access, Bungie has now hit solo players with yet another little sting, weekly Crucible bounties. Before when the Crucible Quartermaster had his bounties I was always able to complete all of Lord Shaxx’s required 5 weekly bounties to get the major reward, now that is not possible for solo players as there is always a fireteam bounty included so now we lose out even more.
Is it such a mystery as to why so many players get angry and rage quit Destiny? I’ll give a personal example; I’m reasonable ok at the Crucible but I’m just so tired of being completely outgunned by players who have these OP raid, trials and CoTE weapons that can outmatch almost every other weapon in the game. I can already imagine the hate mail I will get about this from the trolls but the simple fact is none of my friends play Destiny so why should I be punished for that. I already anticipate people will say there are a number of sites for people looking for fireteams but why should solo players be forced to look elsewhere to find groups so they can complete quests and activities in Destiny and also get the good loot? Why is there matchmacking for some activities and not for others? I would rather try doing a raid with a group of matchmaked randoms then not do it at all. Bungie you punishing solo players enough, why go even further now with deigning solo players the major prize for completing 5 weekly Crucible bounties?

Editado por Shaddow: 9/24/2016 12:13:34 PMWow, solo players are really getting whipped again with Rise of Iron. Just did the calculation for the rise of iron rewards book and 11 of the 32 activities in it are ones that require fireteams. That means that it is impossible for a solo player to even get their full set Iron Armor as the Winter's End shotgun is the last reward that can get (I would have like to have got that ship but kiss that good bye also), even getting to that level without a fireteam is going to be really hard. This is all on top of again missing out on the new raid etc. etc. Thanks Bungie for shoving a pineapple up the rumps of me and every other solo play in Destiny, yet again. You really know how to makes us feel appreciated for the support the solo players give you by buying this game and its DLC.

Honest answer... it's Bungie's way to get you to keep enticing your friends to play. It's marketing. Keeping the word of mouth. Free advertising for them. My thoughts... it's a shady shit stained tactic. One of many, that litters this game. I typically only play Control. If I'm feeling feisty, I'll do the daily Crucible just for marks... I refuse to do Rumble. I'll play Rift and Clash occasionally, but now it seems I'll log in and have 2, maybe 3 Crucible bounties that I'll do. Fireteam bounties are just stupid.

2 RespuestasHonestly if you aren't willing to play with others in a social type game then you simply aren't entitled to completing your Moments of Triumph. If you don't raid then what "Triumphs" do you think you have earned? When I started playing this game it was just myself and my brother. We didn't raid because we didn't want to bother. Then we were in the tower and a group invited us and we said screw it lets try. That was maybe November 2014, VOG. Met a guy that I still play with. From there we ended up playing on several raids with different people some great some awful. Then I found a group that was the perfect fit for me, joined their clan, brought in my brother and another buddy who I reconnected with from back in the old Counterstrike 1.5 days. We raid often and play together almost every night. Long story short, it's your fault you play solo and no one else's. If you want Moments of Triumph go earn them. I know that's kind of upsetting to hear but there it is.

1 RespuestaEditado por Woftyuk: 9/14/2016 10:00:35 AMI totally agree with the OP. I'm in the same boat so to speak, I've not done anything that requires a fireteam, therefore missing out on some crucial parts of the game.. Why is it that some activities have match-making and others don't, surely they can have them all as match-making. My biggest problem with finding a fireteam is the fact I have to come out of the game to do so, (Console), then you have to try and get 5 other players who are all available at the same time... I've searched for a fireteam, and most of the time they want 320+ players, well, I can't get past 312... There should be an in game kiosk, just the same as those you use when selecting bounties, surely they could create something in the "SOCIAL AREA*" that allows players to search for a fireteam easier. *Social Area: Where players just wave or dance near you.

1 RespuestaIt isn't too difficult to find a team, especially with the recruitment section available now. The majority of the people I raid with were all originally randoms that I found on here or LFG.
-
Don't worry..I hate Kings fall. I'm not completing mine and that's ok
-
I know how you feel! Anyone that is looking for a good group to play with shoot me a message. We are a small clan always looking for additional good players to fill raid Slots!
-
There's a recruitment section for a reason now. I have a full Raid team now and I met them all there. I used to solo everything up until a couple months ago.

Editado por Ve7n00m: 9/16/2016 12:00:14 PMI can’t complete half of the ‘Moments of Triumph’ book as most things in it require pre-organised fireteams Well then use Recruitment to find a fireteam!!!!!!! It's really not that hard. Or you know, join a Clan! What exactly is wrong with making some online friends that play Destiny in the same timezone as you??? There's plenty options for you yourself to rectify your complaints, I assume you're just too lazy or stubborn to do them?

9 RespuestasThe quater master bounties never counted for shax weekly bounty.
-
6 RespuestasBungie has always hated solo players. It's their "47%"
-
You chose to play solo, just as bungie chose to put in fire team base bounties
-
16 RespuestasLook, I play solo, so take this for what it's worth. You're wrong. You can play solo, but some activities are built for fire teams and incentivized to encourage fire team play. Don't want to do that? Fine. You just aren't going to get those rewards. I want OMM as much as the next guy, but it's silly to ask Bungie to eliminate quests and bounties that require fire teams.
-
It's an online multiplayer game... guess what, that means you need at least 1 more. Ain't that hard. I believe your social skills will be more than enough for this task. If you're on ps4 I can help you out with this bountie.
-
Make friends.. go to the tower. Like fr
-
6 RespuestasYou may get some haters, they're everywhere. But I agree with you wholeheartedly. That and other team bounties just sit in my inventory until I can pick up other bounties that can be done solo to replace them. They make you play pvp for the weapons, then make you lfg for teammates to play in the crucible with. Lol. So -blam!-ing frustrating. I just want to do some shit without fireteams. I'm an older gamer and don't have a huge network of high school or college buddies to run around with. I had several friends that played early on, but quit soon after they nerfed the hopscotch pilgrim era. So...yeah, I feel your pain and frustration.

2 RespuestasIf you are playing this game solo, you are doing it wrong. (For the most part.)
-
2 RespuestasThe answer for this is pretty simple, because Its Bungies game not yours even when you bought it. Its a take it or leave it company, most of my friends took the second one, they left. The last raid is the perfect example , the mecanics are so that you really need 6 players. If this was a social game they would implement optional matchmaking for everything, thats the social thing to do. But thats not an option for Bungie right now, if this game really goes down the drain , they suddenly will. Sorry bud, it is what it is, take the crap they feed us or leave.
-
This is and has never been a solo friendly game. You chose the wrong game fella.
-
Have you tried joining a clan?? Most clans nowadays have BAND or Discord... The general chat rooms are filled with people willing to lend a hand or inviting whoevers available to the end game activities..
-
I hate that so much. But what I do is just sent a ton of messages to people in the tower and ask them if they want to play a few rounds of crucible for a bounty. It sucks but there aren't any other options
-
I know the feeling, but unless you cant afford buying playstation+ or xbox live, you have to go searching for a good and homy clan. I have joined one ever since I ran out of options in my solo play (pve). Now there are plenty of things to do every day, but most importantly the clan is really kind and we always have fun together. Ty for your time, ~Lumi

No it is not. That bounty gets swapped every week or so with the kill 10 with each primary gun type and what is wrong with making a bounty which requires you to find friends which you can find easy.
-
-
3 RespuestasAre you kidding me? A party crasher with rangefinder and rifle barrel. The loadout you have right now is one of the better ones you can have for the crucible.
-
Bump. I hate the group bounties... Is it that hard to provide an option for solo players?
