Can we buff ammo capacity back to its former glory? (In PvE)
So I just got The Swarm last night. Finally. One of my favorite legendary MGs... and then I died a little inside when I realized, with heavy ammo boots on, I could hold 88 rounds. That's it.
Bruh....
Edit: Seems like 99.9% of you guys are on board! (Well. For PvE. But let's be real. Everyone knew that this was a PvE post ;) )
Make heavy ammo great again!!!
Also. Stop bending PvE over and doing naughty things to it to "benefit" PvP. Please. I'd heart the hell out of that.

I also noticed that I can still only carry six round for my dragon's breath, despite the buff to surplus that makes it increase carried ammo capacity

7 RespuestasI've wondered though, honestly, if it really is the fault of PVP that ammo and gun stats and abilities are changed. I'm more inclined that it's not exclusive to "balancing" pvp as much as the nerfs effect pve because the weapons themselves would be too power. The sniper ammo nerf that happened just before 335 light made sense because the King's Fall raid bosses would have melted far too quickly if the same ammo capacity was still in play. It's not just pvp but also to slow down the OP ability of high light guardians from making a joke out of the "challenges" of pve.

Good idea, but not gonna happen. Bungie prioritizes the PVP crowd. Will be even more noticeable now that Destiny is MLG. I play both (not well mind you) and you can count me among the crowd that thinks the balance should be separated between PVE and PVP, but Bungie stubbornly refuses to listen to two years of community requests for this separation. They want the guns to feel the same, but always balance based on PVP

It is the Sandbox balancer's policy to nerf everything that could ever be of the slightest benefit to PvE...stop asking for the impossible 😟

I think it did be better to have armor pieces with a chance of getting more ammo perk something to grind for and everyone wouldn't be the same again

It's ridiculous that a machine gun would carry such a small amount of ammo. It needs to go back to the way it was, or do a lot more damage with the ammo it has.

2 RespuestasYep i miss my 120 box mag on The Culling. I'd tear omnigul a new one with it or the 100 round box from the vault lmg can't remember the name. So fun going Rambo on bosses. Now every time I get on I die a little inside seeing the nerf and then turn the game off.

They nerfed my loudout again. I went from starting with 15 snipers shots in PVP down to 12. Bungie is king of the nerfs.
