To begin I'm going to throw this out there, I'm salty.
Now that that's out of the way, I would like to address the recent patch that modified the shoulder charge.
In summary, it takes longer to shoulder charge an opponent, making it easier for a player to counter.
This can be achieved a number of ways.
If the intent is to make a Titan an "in your face, down in the mud or in the thick of the action" then they need an immediate way to defend themselves short range or else run the risk of death. The Melee ability is nice however two melees of any class can kill a guardian in your standard scenario. Only difference is the Titan is immediate short range so they have to out maneuver their opponent for it to be a fair fight.
The maneuvering capabilities are "nerfed" when thinking about the momentum required for shoulder charge. A player does have horizontal and vertical range of motion in the shoulder charge momentum carry but, you can never stop moving(and a sprint at that). So it's easier to predict the movements of a shoulder charge Titan because you know he's going to keep running if you see it e.g. Warlock spots Titan sprinting for what's more than likely a shoulder charge because of the wind effect will think "hm what beats that? Or yeah, guns. Guns beat it." So then warlock pulls out shotgun, walks backward and waits for the enemy to get within range of the shotgun. Until that point a primary is typically being used to weaken and kill the target. That's it.
So making the shoulder charge slower and giving it a cool down only means you're allowing people that got bested, to basically get coddled and get a participation medal.
The shoulder charge is now an embarrassment. If I get you with it it's a shame, end of story. Peregrine greaves will still be equipped but I'm sure shutting down a super will require a level beyond out maneuvering your opponent.
Sincerely,
The guy who uses this A LOT.

57 RespuestasShoulder charge should be kept powerful but not a one hit kill move. It should do massive flinch and take 90% of a users life enabling fast killing shots after. One hit kill move? Nah.
