I see these streamers playing on tiny ass monitors as their screens. I play on a 55" 4k and couldn't imagine trying to play on a 20" screen. Are small screens the new meta? lol

Editado por Scope: 9/13/2016 12:13:22 AMI play on my 17 inch Alienware laptop because it has HDMI-in support. I love it, everything is so much smoother, I can't play on a big screen anymore. Edit: I do play PvE on a 50 inch. Above was meant for PvP only.

I play on a 22 inch 1080p monitor and stereo headphones, and it works fine. Monitors have no deadzone crop and does little or no processing so they often have very minimal delay if any. Some monitors, including mine, need to turn on full range in PS4 settings so the black won't look gray. Most TV by default do deadzone crop and zoom which will reduce quality for 1080p TV. Most TV have setting like "Aspect Ratio" set to "Just scan" to stop this crop/zoom. Some TV, by default, have too much sharpness in TV settings may show annoying white outline around black text. With destiny grain/noise showing up mostly everywhere in Destiny 2.4.0 update, too much sharpness will make this grain/noise far more visible.

Yes .. Monitors give you much better resolution rates, and improves communication from console to tv ( monitor ) I got a Benq 27 inch ..and I tell ya shit is true and real on it.... real time and my bullets actually land on the opponent
-
They do it to gain an edge. Google it. Most have pretty small monitors, monitors, not even tvs
-
I sit about two feet away from a 32". Has been and will always be my comfort zone

1 RespuestaStealth brag noted. Not only is 4K absolutely worthless for Any console but it doesn't at to the narrative of the post. La~hoo~za~her

28" 1ms benq console MLG monitor. It's the tits.
-
I play on a 75 inch tv, i used to play on a monitor. I have also played on a 40 inch for many years. You just get used to it.
-
I used to play on a 55", and it looked very pretty and all, but then I decided to try crucible on one of my 24" 2ms monitors, and I can't go back. The response time is badly noticeable, but being able to see the whole screen without moving my eyes is huge.
-
Big screens tend to have a pretty bad delay on them
-
I got a 55" 4k TV recently and love it!
-
It, of course, depends on how close to the screen you are. As far as streaming is concerned they all seem to have the same setup. In which they are close to their display and so it needs to be small.
-
If I get the choice, I be horrible and keep the 70" thanks.
-
I play on a 70" tv. I would rather enjoy the cinematic experience than sweat over stats.

-
3 Respuestas55" that's tiny. I use an overhead projector, so I'm in the 100"+ range. Nevermind input latency, let's talk about actually having to look around your room latency
-
5 RespuestasI play on a 62in samsung. wouldn't have it any other way. kids play on monitors because their parents don't won't them in the living room hahahahaha
-
14 RespuestasScreen size has nothing to do with it. Being a 40 year old gamer I can afford a 70" led 4K television.
-
1 RespuestaI use a normal tv that is 22" and I destroy in crucible... I used to use a box tv whole year 1, I dont need screens made for gaming I dont think it would help me at all ^_^
-
2 Respuestassmaller screens allow you to see more of the action, big screens have lots of space and shorten your reaction time as you have to glance at different portions of the screen whereas a smaller screen allows you to see most if not all action in the same viewpoint. I played on a 32 inch and moved up to a 55 inch and did significantly worse on shooters. Try out a smaller screen and you may not wanna go back to a big one.
-
Smaller screen allows you to view the whole picture without having to look at different parts of the screen. Input latency on monitors is lower than the majority of TV's(even with post-processing turned off).
-
1 RespuestaRefresh rate on gaming monitor 's is better.
-
1 RespuestaSmaller tvs and better refresh rates will give you the edge in Twitch shooters
-
Yeah just swapped over to my 23" monitor after reading ppls comments...will never go back to my tv. so much better lol thanks destiny community!
-
Can anyone tell me where's the difference?

11 RespuestasAny serious gamer will use a monitor over a tv. I play on a 24" monitor
