Most people that glitched into the area and got the shell received bans from bungie as the ghost shell wasn't obtainable through ordinary means. And still isn't available? If I'm not mistaken

I've gotten other glitched ghosts that give you grimoire only and I'm still here :D not the intrusion shell tho. but most of all I love my physical real world frontier shell ghost :D is my preciousssssss 😈

that was actually a myth, the only person to get banned was someone who used a modded console to equip the intrusion shell, those that glitched (using mechanics that are in the game) were not affected by any form of ban

no, the frontier shell was also legendary and legit with the ghost edition :D good times Guardian.

But in year 1 the intrusion shell was only obtained by glitching into Kings Watch which if noticed by bungie resulted in an account ban. 2 people on my friends list got hit, they lost the ghost shell and had a 3 month account ban preventing them from playing destiny or signing into bungie.net

It was a shell way back in the day that got you banned if you glitched into an area to pick it up.

No it wasn't. FFS do some research people. He modded the game to get the ghost shell in his inventory got caught and made that -blam!-ing story up. Stop spreading BS. Bungie even stated that he modded the game to get the shell. Otherwise thousands of players would be banned and unable to play... myself included.
