Even if it was a tiny change to the crucible, like a 10% bonus chance to get more loot based on a good kd, I would love to feel rewarded for actually putting in an effort, instead of getting legendary weapons for my horrible 0.57 performance
-
If skill was used to judge rewards we'd all be getting level 5 armour. Shotgun sliding in destiny takes no skill, a 600m headshot kill in BF4 takes a lot of skill. That's the difference, for the 600m shot you will often be congratulating the enemy sniper and praising his skill, for the shotgun slide you'll just get annoyed.

3oC, fill your boots.

11 RespuestasDoes anyone really play crucible for the loot?? Cmon.
-
2 RespuestasPoints would be a better rout. I'd like this, there is no consolation prize for second place/#1 looser. If this is how it worked, I'd probably actually care about my score. As it stands now, I can shoot one player, go AFK in my menu and walk out with top loot. No effort or work required. Hell, I could probably just go to the back corner, pick my nose, and still get the best drops.

Editado por UFSman: 9/9/2016 11:04:58 PMNo and no the reward pool should be changed to a points system which rewards points for playing the game but it should still reward a point for participating or else you get people leaving and not coming back. If we have a point system and every 20 points you can choose a engram of your chioce when that is the way the game rewards should work not rng or skill based only.

It's feel nice to actually get a nice reward for playing good. It'd be an "actual" reward for once. Lol But bungie won't do this bc they cater to all the noobs. Soo yeah. Smh

I feel it should be something like, the person in first is pretty much guaranteed something and everyone else has a chance, instead of the bull crap where I can go 21-0, getting first place and scoring the most points, get 287 rare boots while the person in last gets a legendary at 290 something... Yes, I have a friend who went 21-0 in Classic Free-For-All and got 287 rare boote

2 RespuestasA K/D based loot system just encourages even more passive play styles. Everyone will hide in their spaws head glitching each other. Plus loots systems like this lean towards "Rich Get Richer" reward systems. So if you're going to do it, it needs to be score based. Also, i think it should be a chance to get additional loot. This system would encourage everyone to play better for that MVP slot, and kinda mitigate the rich get richer scenario.

1 Respuesta1. This is discouraging to casual players, which Activision does not want. 2. If people were happy to shoot into a cave for six hours, you can guarantee someone to find a way to exploit a weighted loot system.

Points not kd.
-
Not kd but score.
-
3 RespuestasNo because in all the try hards they get all the good loot and all the people that need that loot to actually be able to perform against those people would have absolutely nothing and then there never be able to play to their full potential
-
Base it on points, not kd. Then it could work.
-
They need separate rolls happening for loot. For example say we have the one we have now which doesn't discriminate, keep that. Now add on to it another that is entirely performance dependent. Now the quality of the gear is another matter. Really performance bonus should have always been a thing.

Ahh so like a Diablo system

11 RespuestasRewards based on kd only pushes an environment of camping, crouching in corners and not playing the objective. Not a good idea.
-
1 RespuestaIt should be based off of your total points not k/d. Otherwise control games will just turn into a camp fest. You think the sniper issue is bad now....
-
6 RespuestasOff of score per minute would be better
-
Kd shouldn't determine your loot but rather the score for the match
-
I get shit in first place on team, when I'm last tripod proximity ash factory
-
But you are rewarded with a boost to the infinitely important K/D!
-
As long as this community is so negative toward being put into matches with people who could possibly be better than them, loot should remain as it is. Those players don't deserve loot.

Editado por RMSi_10nm: 9/8/2016 9:52:46 AMThings that I wouldn't mind scaling with skill or dropping more often on the winning team: Strange coins Motes of Light Ships Shaders Rep Boosters Ghost shells Things that I don't think should scale with skill/winning: Legendary drops. Blue engrams Winning should make you a rich Guardian - but end of match rewards should stay RNG because they help the scrubs to FEEL better and to stay in the playlist - which is good for all of us because they provide a certain amount of "lubricant" to allow good players to rise to the top. My motivation is completely orientated around maximising the number of cannon fodder players around. They help us get higher KDs, they speed up matchmaking times, they increase geographical diversity and so reduce lag... More players of low quality in the playlist is GOOD for all of us. I include blue engrams because frankly I get LOADS of purples out of blues since TTK - (some of my best tier 12 armours have come out of blues) the items that they drop are not exclusive to crucible end screen rewards and can be purchased from vendors or earnt in PvE, but they help to keep the legendary drop rate higher for everyone.. With a higher income in coins and motes a "good player" can invest in higher package drop rates from places that they can purchase packages - like factions. With a higher drop rate of reputation boosters the "good player" can boost the output of their effort in terms of crucible packages (and chances for those sweet exclusive weapons). If winners also tend to get the freshest ships and shaders and so stand out then that is also positive and encouraging reward. I would like to see motes and strange coins literally handed out like prize money. 6 to the top scorer, 5 to second place, and so on for the winning team (with RNG deciding if you get coins or motes) and no chance of coins or motes on the losing team (apart from as blue engram rewards). The "On the Bright Side" medal should also reward 6.
-
Absolutely no way if they did this I'd uninstall destiny straight away. Crucible is mainly people who protect their k.d, even in mayhem people camp with snipers, and control? Forget about trying to capture any point coz people yet again just watching the points for kills and not even tryin to capture them. Yes random loot is annoying but its way less annoying than increasing people who only care about their k.d
-
3 RespuestasSo the better players keep getting the better loot which makes it harder for the less skilled players? I understand where you're coming but people will stop playing. If players know they're not good they know they won't get loot, so why play? I joined a game yesterday. It had 30 seconds to go I got 2 kills and I got a legendary. I don't agree with that though.

4 RespuestasThe games like "Ayy this guy did really good, he probably doesn't need all the goods". And then the guy at the bottom "Man this dude didn't do too hot, better give em the good stash".
