Bungie, I know you and most of year one players suffer from PTSD regarding how hand cannons were extremely powerful in y1, but they are not scout rifle-shotguns anymore! Don't make them overpowered, MAKE THEM CONSISTENT! The ROF on HC's is deceiving as hell, their accuracy depends entirely on rng (the range or aa perks you get) the stability is trash for a weapon archetype that throughly punishes you for missing a single shot, they need a serious buffing to its consistency, the latest update did nothing but to make their rof even less reliable. Please look into them this upcoming weapon tuning update.

2 RespuestasI just think hawkmoon needs hit detection buff. Thats all.

2 RespuestasHand cannons were my favorite primary weapon class in year 1, and I didn't even use the exotic ones a lot. But now the accuracy feels so bad...
-
1 Respuestaeveryone hates RNG and adding RNG to bullets is absolutely stupid. Still can't believe they did it.

Watch the video.

1 RespuestaEditado por Original Shuggy: 9/9/2016 4:06:39 AMOh man year 1 my all time best weapon was handcannons, my favourite used to be devil you know which wrecked so hard in Pvp and now it's like you shoot phantom bullets and only get 2 shots in before you reload again.

1 RespuestaBloom is bad, Weisnotski needs to be fired. https://www.twitch.tv/triplewreck/v/80559901?t=10h48m11s

However I do feel the pain of ghost bullets (as I use No land beyond and side arm) you just need to challenge yourself try something new and difficult, when you go back to your old play style. you will appreciate every kill you get.
-
I feel the pain. I was hella late on the first curse quest which I got yesterday. That was a SoB to do. Once I got it I could already feel that I liked how the gun worked but after using it man the 3 shot makes or breaks the gun

I agree ~ Since they actually have damage falloff now it's okay to make them accurate. Having handcannons, a weapon class built to reward precision shots in close quarters, completely fail you despite potentially perfect accuracy for no reason other than bad luck just sucks through and through. You need to stack range and aim assist boosting perks in order to make them reliable and viable. This causes Hawkmoon to actually be worse than Eyasluna!

2 RespuestasHand Cannons as a weapon class were never really too powerful. The exotics? now that's a different story. All three of the original exotic hand cannons had perks that made them do more damage in some way. Thorn had a DoT. Last Word Fired faster than normal. Hawkmoon has magic bullets that randomly do extra damage. Hand Cannons time to kills are competitive with Pulse Rifles and Scout rifles for the moment (the High RoF and Low RoF respectively), but suffer from being both the lowest RoF weapons (missing a shot greatly increases TTK), and a crazy bloom mechanic that plagues the entire weapon class save for those with the absolute highest.

I've got a boat load of HC without rifled barrel but other tier 1 perks, that are ready to go if they patch them.
-
4 RespuestasDude hand cannons are fine if you can't use them well... in fact i still have no idea how to use hawkmoon but trust me they're okay
-
Let's appreciate that you want hand cannons to be buffed if anything, and all people use in crucible are hand cannons and mida
-
Hand cannons are being used the most out of everything at the moment. I don't think they need a buff.

1 RespuestaYour gun is only as good as your connection to the match

4 Respuestaswhy do people complain about hand cannons when twitch streamers still do trials carries with HAND CANNONS? lol not just TLW, i've seen streamers doing double carries to the lighthouse using other hand cannons.. its not the gun, its the user :P
