Anyone passing on Rise of Iron?
This isn't a hate topic. Just wondering if others are Destiny'd out?

So crucible is bad due to RNG hit detection, and I've been blaming the networking. So Destiny has far bigger issues than I thought. This reaffirms my decision to pass on Roi...

I was definitely destiny'd out as of about a week ago, but after watching a couple trailers and informational videos, I have to say that I'm pretty interested in the expansion. I think it's safe that TTK was a fantastic expansion (at least, that's what my friends and I think), and if RoI is in that same ballpark, then I think it'll be fun. I'll give it a shot.

2 RespuestasGoing to pass on RoI. I plan on waiting to see what Destiny 2 will bring. In the meantime, I've been playing the Battlefield 1 Beta and loving it. Killing while on horseback is incredibly gratifying. So much fun. Can't wait for its release.

The biggest is I don't like crucible and I'm more of a PvP type. The networking is unexcusible for a game in 2016 and none of this "you need to go into your router and blah blah blah". That's like owning a Honda Civic that will only run 93 octane, yet every other car runs on the cheap shit. I've played all the Halo's so I know Bungie can do better with P2P networking...cause they have. Also I paid $33 for the TTK Legendary edition. So $30 for an expansion? NAH!

Still on the fence. haven't been playing as much lately. If you don't plan on playing rise of iron might as well hang it up til destiny 2. I'm sure there will be boosters to get your characters up to minimum light in d2.

pre april update I would have said good chance of passing kind of stale now but still enjoying the action and it is one of the few FPS that don't make me carsick feeling TBH there isn't much out there for me right now other than possibly horizon 3 and enjoying the free dlc drops on Halo 5 like warzone firefight

6 RespuestasI might as well complete the game. I've already invested in everything else lol. Destiny is a good game if you except it for what it is and you take your time. Playing 24/7 and burning through everything over and over is were thing get boring and tedious and for what max level. I've been here off and on since day one and not once has max level hinder me from doing anything but join groups in lfg. It's nothing but bragging rights.

They are passing if they are sticking to last gen hardware. If they are passing on RoI on next gen hardware, they most likely are not here in the forum to answer your question. I'll be playing again in a couple weeks.
