Destiny was one of my favorite games ever and Bungie has ruined it. I'm disgusted with the company.

'Was'. There's like 100 new games that come out every year, 99 of them are first person shooters. I'm sure you could find one to tickle your fancy.

I just think it's ridiculous to hope a company flops just because you don't like the direction they took a game in.

I don't think so at all. Bungie went from being a quality game studio to representing everything I hate in the production industry. I think the company is beyond saving. I want the company to cease to exist. The shitty content drops for top dollar? The microtransactions in a premium priced game? Wrecking content for players who don't purchase new expansions? Unwanted and unasked for balance changes? Shitty community communication? Lies? Are these really things you want? The game is a very good shooter with interesting mechanics but I refuse to support a company with such shitty practices.

Shitty content drops-in your opinion. Microtransactions-optional. Lack of communication-I don't need to be spoon fed daily updates. Lies-half the things people say are lies were never stated in the first place. Maybe I'm old-school, but I don't need anything from a game company other than to provide me with a game that I enjoy playing and works. If they don't provide that then I move on to a different game. I've been playing Street Fighter since 1996, yet you don't see me hoping Capcom goes bankrupt since SFV is a PS4 exclusive. Maybe you need your game companies to come tuck you in at night and read you a bedtime story. We're different that way I guess.

That'd be like Toyota coming and taking the power windows out of my car because I haven't upgraded recently. I paid for a game with certain content and functionality, I just want that back. Edit: And frankly, any company that sells you a game and then charges for any sort of even modestly functional in game content is a pile of shit in my opinion. I'm happy to buy content for hearthstone because I never paid for the game. I spent 100+ bucks on Destiny before they added microtransactions. I would never have purchased their game if they had existed before. On principle.
