Crutch lol. You're the type of person who feels self righteous for not using the best guns. Go use he best shit and go flawless because if you aren't playing to win you're doing it wrong. Least it's not as easy to use as the mida.

I'm not mad at all lol. I find it funny that you're trying to justify TLW being "competitive" in highest-level play without there being an obvious reason as to why that is.

Because it's a good weapon at close range to pair with a sniper...I'm just not understanding the last word hate. It's a fun weapon to use with a high skill cap. If you want I go hate on a weapon go hate on the uni or the mida which have a low skill cap.

The problem is that it's effective outside of intended range because of the DPS. 2 headshots + 1 body, from a good distance away. There's no risk to the weapon since it can be spammed. NLB is a balanced exotic. High risk, high skill gap, high reward.

The rate of fire you have to shoot at to be accurate at range makes other primaries just more efficient. Yes it's still ok but it's harder to land 2 head shots and 1 body than 1 headshot and 2 bodies on a Luna for example. As for pre nerf thorn back for year 3, not two shot pre nerf thorn but it should be buffed to be able to 1 head shot 2 body shot to burn them out for the kill.

That's the thing though. It can be spammed. Even if you fire full auto, missing a shot or two won't mean you lost the gunfight. Thorn is fine as is. It's actually balanced now. Let's keep it that way.

If you fire fast you will miss most of your shots. Also it's a specialized weapon. You're basically being the guy that complains about shotguns being good at close range.
