Edit: managed to get it done! Control on rusted lands, even managed to get the "on the brightside" medal for the match. Main piece of advice for others would be, just use imprecation for every engagement and never take it off, once you learn how to use it you'll get there.
Ok, I know this has been asked a million times but anyone got some tips for me on this one? I left the quest for dead at the start one y2 because I didn't use hand cannons at all in pvp at that point. However, I recently got a god roll eyasluna and have been getting some decent matches with it, so I thought I'd pick up the imprecation quest again. I'm running it on my hunter.
I can get 3-4 headshot kills in a good game but that seems to be my best. Admittedly I'm on a low pvp wise recently and I put that down to lack of practice (moving house and going on a lot of holidays so not much time for games) and the fact that I feel I've been bumped into a higher skill bracket since I (finally) raised my overall kd to 1.0 on my hunter.
So I'm looking for advice on the following:
- What playlist would you recommend? (Been trying classic rumble to get 1 on 1 fights but wonder if mopping up kills in a 6v6 might be better?)
- What subclass would be best? (Using a hunter... Was trying to use bloodbound to get multikills but wasn't getting anywhere, maybe gunslinger for the reload and stability perks?)
- Any exotics that make this easier? (Although I try to avoid it as it encourages bad habits, I was thinking Knucklehead Radar?)
- Finally, I saw someone say you should infuse it to over 300 for best results? Not sure how this works in pvp with lvls disabled, but thought maybe it has a stat increase when you upgrade it? Any comments?
Edit: I don't wanna boost.
Thanks for your thoughts guardians.

1 RespuestaI had no issues on my Titan. My warlock is proving difficult. On Titan, I just followed my team around on a game of control. Vertigo was the map that got it done.

1 RespuestaEven though you already have it done, my tip for other guardians trying to get it done. I would run around with a sniper (icebreaker worked great for me due to consistent ammo) and body shot, switch to imprecation for the headshot. After I tried that method, got it done second game. Good luck!

1 RespuestaYes and it will work first game promised, get two other friends (ill help if you dont have 2 others [impossible] if your on ps4) go to classic free for all and have the other 2 find you and intentionally let you headshot them.

5 RespuestasI feel your pain...I struggled a long time with that quest to. In my humble opinion, Control is your best option. Especially when you're on a map you know well. Try and defend two zones, alternating between them, and only use the Imprecation hand cannon. Take your time to aim for well placed shots. Bang bang bang (that's 3 headshots), reload and do it again (x6) Don't worry about dying. Keep going for those headshots. You will succeed. When I finally nailed it I did the quest again on my alt characters :) p.s.: congrats on the "I don't wanna boost" edit!

Go to rumble. More 1 v 1 engagements and u won't get team shot Soften them with a easy to use grenade, this will require less shots to kill them. Skip, firebolts, supression would all work well

Editado por StiviX: 9/6/2016 3:22:10 PM-infusing does nothing damage wise in crucible -play control, pick off people taking points, finish off enemies your teammates are shooting, and/or grenade then shoot. It's much, much easier to do in big team playlists and if you just sit back at mid-long range and shoot

Do team based, with a friend is better as he can fire a couple of rounds into them allowing you to follow up with headshots.

3 RespuestasSimplest way is to go in classic rumble with 2 friends and get them to let you shoot them. Otherwise it's a grind. I'd suggest a 6v6 mode as you can always steal your tm's kill. Control works best as you can have a good idea where the enemy are.
