Has Activision gone to far?
So most of us know that Activision is probably the worst publisher in gaming. However I was surprised to find out that the COD MW campaign is not available for the first 30 days except on PS. Know I understand the ridiculous deals they have made with Sony concerning DLC, but this is blocking main game content that is essentially on the disc.
Has Activision doing this taken its deal with Sony to far. Blocking what everyone is paying equal money for. Keep in mind this is not DLC. I know some of you don't play COD or don't care or are PS owners but this seems to be taking it to far. It certainly is setting a dangerous trend.
Edit: someone pointed out that the campaign is available Oct 5 if you buy it digitally on Ps.
Edit 2: to be clear this is the icing on the cake. Throw in Destiny PS exclusive items. Add to that a shitty port of Transformers for $50, a ghostbusters game that looks like it belongs on PS 2 and Transformers and TMNT games that are cash grabs. To top it off all the micro transactions in bo3 and I see a pattern

3 RespuestasNo, if anything year exclusives for destiny are the only real issues here. Even though I'm a ps player, it's wrong to have 1 year exclusives, 1 or 2 months is fine. 1 year? No way.

3 RespuestasActivision are butthurt that Phil spencer told them to do one when they wanted to renew the third party exclusives with Xbox. This made them go to Playstation, who could pay less for exclusivity because Xbox didn't do any bidding. They're just salty that Microsoft isn't bending over to their ridiculous demands.

To be honest Infinite Warefare isn't enough for me to purchase just for MW. I ll wait for it to go one sale. I give to like 6 months. COD hit the toliet around Black ops 2. enough said.

1 RespuestaActivision has been testing the waters of their fanbase with Dlc/exclusives for nearly a decade now. Clearly they have been told it doesn't matter to their fans because their games still sell well. Now if Xbox sales declined significantly and ps sales stayed the same you might see them stop offering these bs exclusives. But until gamers start protesting with their wallets nothing will change.
