Soloed Oryx Hard with No HUD
World's First Solo Hard Mode Oryx with No HUD. This challenge was very tedious and it felt very satisfying to complete. This took me ~50 hours and a total of 5 "Final Stand" wipes because my timing was off. Now I'll talk about all the things that made this challenge hard, if you don't care then just click the video link ;)
* No Damage Numbers - This is one of the main things that made this very hard because you cannot tell how much damage you do or weather or not you hit headshots. I had to use a different strategy using Fusion Grenades to kill the first 2 Ogres to make this a bit easier.
* No Health Bars - This is also one of the main things that made this hard because I never knew how much health Oryx, the Ogres, or the Shade had at any point.
* No Ammo/Super Display - This wasn't too crazy actually, I had a rough estimate of my Sleeper ammo the whole time because I usually pop'd a Synth at the start of every run so I just remembered that number the whole time. Basically every time I picked up a Special ammo brick from my Surplus thrall kills, I got full ammo so that wasn't a huge issue.
* No Radar - Again this wasn't too crazy, I didn't really have a particular strat to get around this, just did everything normally but with no Radar.

I did in fact turn on my HUD for a sec at the beginning because I thought I messed up and this was one of my first attempts so I didn't want to waste ammo. turning on the HUD right there didn't make the run any easier on me because I already knew how much ammo I had.

19 RespuestasJust out of curiosity; how do you KNOW you were the world's first? I mean, well done and all (I guess, I didn't watch the video, I'm not even sure how one goes about soloing this, I thought you needed at least 3 for the pedestals and 1 to run the platforms), but isn't it possible that someone did it before you but just didn't tell anyone on the internet?

I don't see any challenge without the hud. I mean... it's hard if you're playing hide and seek but that's it.
