Why's everyone complaining about sniping? Although I will agree that the aim assist on some snipers is ridiculous, that doesn't call for a nerf. Snipers are actually balanced right now, besides the stupid rule where you start with no sniper ammo is inferno.
The people calling out for nerfs are ruining the game.

3 RespuestasThey need to buff handling and snapshot on snipers to how they were in year 1. Slower handling just makes them more passive. I don't care how many shotgun buffs they have to add to make this change, but it needs to happen. I know that people complain about special weapons being abused, so why not buff primaries somehow. Maybe not TTK for some of them, but even better stability or more range on certain weapons could help. Just bring back year 1 snipers.

You can look at the data and see that the "sniper nerf" did jack squat. The main things I'd like to see is a sway/hold breath mechanic to help curb Hardscopers putting their dot perfectly at head level, and let the aim assist lock on for a easy kill. Also descope from a crit hit. There is no way I should get headshot if I am hitting their crit with primary weapons.

11 RespuestasI hate snipers. Lazy ass players and cowards that just camp and hide getting kills. Snipe back and get your team to flush their camping spots and kill them off during runs. And again when they spawn. Wait...... Isn't that how you play PvE?

The bodyshot damage is really high and there's not a lot of flinch even though flinch got increased in TTK launch. As of right now shotgunning takes more skill than sniping but I do respect those who can actually hit headshots and not rely on their mida or last word or even a hunter smoke or throwing knife to finish the job

6 RespuestasOnly thing I think to change is the flinch to a head shot. It should de-scope and reduced damage of in close range. Snipers are meant to be used from an extended range not as a way to use as a body shot then finish with a hand cannon or punch. And if you get shot in the head then the de-scope should take effect. If I use a primary and the one using a sniper can take my hits and still aim its broke.

9 RespuestasQuite easy cuase of the the over all time it takes you to get into the scope and kill some one is shorter than all but one of the primaries so if you surprised them you got a very small window in which to close the gap and kill them in, Sniper is surprosed to be a long range gun it should not win drawing matches in short to mid range. Also the scope centres way to quick from finich you can just ride it out feel the rhythm and pull off a head shot, you can fast walk left and right walk up and down stairs duck in and out of cover and the scope stays dead in the centre, When you have bullet mag,auto aim, and aim assist. Remove snap shot and that perk blade dances have to allow guns to be instantly drawled, add o.5 seconds to scope time, add a sway to movement when scope that takes o.5 seconds to centre when standing still or 0.3 when you take a knee. Unnerf Mida make an actual counter for snipers And we might see people use something else in pvp although pve will never change we still use a sniper for everything there.

Good players will result to other things, and your kd won't change, you'll die the same amount of times, just to other things or tactics. People thought nerfing thorn was the answer. But then they found them self dieing the same amount of times to a different weapon. And complaining about something else... Nerfs aren't the answer.

3 RespuestasSnipers... Sniper crucibabies have ruined the game. Every primary archtype that could compete in yr 1 has been nerfed to the ground. The shotguns that could once come around a corner and get a one shot at 20ft no longer exist. Fusion rifle charge rates have been increased, while range and stability stats were decreased. I use snipers, effectively, but i have never asked for a nerf to anything and i use almost every secondary equally. Except sidearms... They are all about the roll otherwise most are trash. What'd they do to snipers again? slow down ads? I use snipes often and i barely noticed any change.

the 1 shot kills from close up while full health that's a salty right there. Been playing sw bf and I didn't miss the snipers.

Snipers are fine. Shotguns need to be adjusted in terms of range. That's it.

11 RespuestasI think, during a match for certain game modes, there shouldn't be special ammo boxes. Instead there should just be a fixed amount of ammo you get at the intervals where a box would appear that automatically spawns for everyone in their ammo pool. Say 6 sniper bullets. But you only those 6 for that interval. I only say this because, and I've done it before, where special ammo spawns on a smaller map and all I do is go for as many of the boxes as I can. Typically I can get two, sometimes three if the other team isn't focuses on special. That's like... 12 sniper bullets at least. On top of what I already have. With the change you wouldn't' be able to do that. Everyone would have a smaller amount, but the same amount, of special ammo. It's probably not a good idea... but it's one I've thought about occasionally. It would be a cool setting to have for private matches though. Say, for more balanced but competitive types.

The flinch is ridiculously low and the ability to use them at any range is even more so. Add much more zoom to every scope so that snipers actually play their roles and more flinch for an actually level playing field.

They need to flinch more. There is no excuse for this. While I'm at it they also could use a slight delay in aiming. You shouldn't be able to ads a sniper rifle as quick as a primary.

Just complete a match... all team with snipers, you can t move or expose your head because all of them were sit with their snipers, if they don t hit you in the head, another player hit and kill you

Nerf body shot damage to 110 and it's fine.

1 RespuestaI think that the only thing aside from a slight auto-aim adjustment that snipers need to be balanced is the addition of unscoping when shot. Doing that would make snipers feel like snipers and the reduction of auto-aim wouldn't matter as much because you'd have to engage at long ranges.
