I couldn't disagree more. Elemental primaries made most people only use Raid Weapons. All the weapons in the tower sat and gathered dust. Year 2 has shown that taking that away increased variety.

Editado por DaGroove: 9/4/2016 7:42:14 AMSure... First vendor roll Hung Jury is all everyone's been using all year in pve. Hell, how many people STOPPED playing pve regularly because the loot was just not compelling enough to pug a raid?
-
Exactly!! I was sick of using the same 4 primary weapons (fatebringer, vision, word of Crota, fang) I'd much rather how it is now so I can use hung jury for EVERY..DAMN...THING!! Weapon diversity really worked well removing burns huh?! (This post was brought to you by sarcasm 😬)
-
Yup. I think they actually reduced variety. There's a few real good primaries that get the majority of action. Some times you'll see the odd man out running something dufferent but not too often (patrol obviously not included here). At least before there were quite a few good primaries with elemental burns that you could choose from. Now it's....Zhalo.
-
Yup.... OP must look for easy street in all aspects of life.
-
Agreed, he gets it. Not to mention how easy this game is with primary burns, I prefer a challenge
-
Oh, I know, right? Especially since when you dropped into those activities, the game automatically loaded an elemental primary for you and didn't allow you to change it. It sucks how it did that. It's like, "Hey, I want the choice of whether or not I use that gun. Maybe I want it to be harder." This d@mn game. I swear... automatically loading guns for me and sh!t.

Editado por Dredgen Dread: 9/4/2016 8:17:13 AMYou're basically saying you suck, we know we can switch guns you condescending douche nozzle. We're saying they make the game easy, which effectively means you suck balls at this game because your bleeding out of your vagina for them. Shut up, get gud. Done and done.
-
How are you gonna tell people they suck when your stats in pvp and pve are absolute garbage?
-
I can private match you and wreck you and then we can talk, put your money where your mouth is :)
-
I'm sure you will with that 0.8 Get on Xbox and I'll gladly probe that statement wrong :)
-
Nvm you need a better console first
-
Omg your so stupid kid. do you even know how you got Elemental Primary's in year 1? They were exclusive to the raids AKA you had to clear the raids to get them meaning your good and dont suck. Raids are end game content which are meant to offer the best rewards in the game for completing them which makes the game easier in order to pay you ff for your hard work on getting to that point. those who beat the raids to get those deserved to make the game easier. listen i understand this is your first game of this genre or any mmo for that matter so your very uneducated on Loot games but just....please Check yourself before you rekt yourself.
-
As someone that had all those primaries long before you did I disagree, the raid weapons were op with their burns, you had no reason to use vendor or exotic primaries. I don't need them to make the game easier when I beat the raid, I need them to make it harder... As in raise the light level on enemies or something. Anyways, like I said elemental primaries made the game too easy, I prefer it now with out.
-
The Raid Primary's were never OP because of the burns. they only reason those guns were used the most were because of their perks and good stats. why do you think so many people consider the Imago loop or that one scout rifle? its because they are year 2 versions of fatebringer and VoC. the burn was just a added bonus. other then the select few really good guns. the only place burn primaries were used was when a burn was applied to the nightfall or heroic. or even skolas. whats the point in having burn modifiers effect the player when your barely have any burn weapons? back in year 1 i mostly used my Devil you know, or my Vew mythoclast. most of the time. id put on VoC/Fatebringer/atheons epilogue. for Solor/Arc/Void burns respectively. they NEVER destroyed gun selection because of the burns it was the guns themselves just being so good with their perks and stats. and seriously? beating the endgame content like raids should reward you with making everything harder........its clear with this comment Destiny is your first MMO and that you have no grasp on the concept of Endgame rewards or effort=reward/Risk=reward. Please kid educate yourself before you embarrass yourself in front of millions of people who Actually know what they are talking about
-
This couldn't be me true.
-
Agreed.
-
Lmao this is the most ignorant thing I've seen. You must not know what weapons are used in year 2
-
Fight me
-
Lol you must not know... How many people use 1000 yard, or conspiracy theory... Imago, red spectre, shadow price, ldr, long bow, grim cit, hawksaw and plenty more... Get real kid
-
TLW and Thousand Yard Stare. Or Hawksaw.
-
That's pvp. None of the raid weapons except fang of ir yut were actually good in pvp. Elementary primaries aren't a pvp issue.
-
Right? I mean Vex, Timepiece, VoC, Fang, HoC all just completely sucked in PvP. You just never saw them at all. I Can't believe anyone ever used them.
-
Right? I mean Vex, Timepiece, VoC, Fang, HoC all just completely sucked in PvP. You just never saw them at all. I Can't believe anyone ever used them.
VoC was okay. I mentioned Fang. And Hunger of Crota is a rocket launcher...it's pretty hard not to be good as a rocket launcher. Oh I actually forgot about timepiece. I don't really count the mythoclast given its exotic. Everyone I know refers only to legendaries when they reference "raid weapons".
-
Yeah, but Vex is an elemental primary that's only obtainable through the raid. Whether it's an exotic or not, it is a raid weapon. My point is, there were only a few that weren't used in the crucible, FB being the only one I can actually think of. And even though autos were crappy at that time, plenty of people still used AE effectively for the Thorn bounty until Word came along.

So how is there variety?
