Player threatening to ban. Cozmo help
On SHORES OF TIME as many of you know or don't, there is a spot by A side to get on top of the A side cave or hill, this is not an exploit or cheat nor hacking (YouTube shores of time crucible map spots) and yet he says he's posting me as a hacker, if this is worthy of ban I'll stop going up there, but if there is a spot in a map poorly designed on Bungie's part and I use if not even glitching or cheating, that's somehow my problem?
I've never modded in my life nor used cheat Codes or hacks, I'm not about to start.
If player name is needed I will provide it.

Well it depends. Bungie said before they won't ban anyone who is not manipulating connection or modding there system so in that alone you are safe. But I also remember in Y1 when players would change characters while matchmaking in ToO ((to find easier ppl)) got 1-2 weeks ban although they cheese. So all in all the worst that can happen to you is 1-2 weeks restriction to any PvP mood but I highly doubt it.

I got called a hacker after losing miserably. It doesn't take much to get accused dude, don't worry about it.

That is not going to get u a ban. Dont sweat it. If he wants to make some witch hunt cause u were able to get a good spot let him/her waste their life away.

Ignore him. He can't ban you, and Bungie never punished people for exploits of their poor map (or weapon) design.

Welcome to the internet lol Where if you are doing well and in a spot someone can't get to (on your team or not), they'll get mad and claim to be able to ban you LOL Here is the thing, if you can do certain things in this game NOW, it's on Bungie.

But he can trace your ip, narrow it down to your niebourhood and when cut off their internet so in affect banning you for a week or until they fix it if he can be brotherd to do that that is mine you that would be crimal damage and that's against the law.

1 RespuestaShit that's nothing... I turned in a bounty in the beginning of a PvP game with my alternate account and got a golden gun when the score was 0-0. I tripled the other team and they all left then I got 3 angry messages saying I was hacking for infinite supers... They obviously didn't understand how the game mechanics work.

Bungie is not banning anybody for anything or half the people in crucible would be gone for bad connections. Even if you found a way to hack the game to never lose they wouldn't ban you.

4 RespuestasNo way are they going to ban you for that. There are exploits on all the maps they haven't patched or changed that people use all the time. Now......if you some how manage to knock Atheon off the ledge...Someone might want to see you in his office pronto!

You shouldn't get banned for Bungie's mistakes and lack of quality assurance. However, why play from cheese spots when the whole point of PvP is to engage in combat? Like the rest of us, you win some, you lose some.

I highly doubt you will get banned for that but here's the way I look at it. The fact that you posted this tells me that you think it's a pretty frowned upon type of thing and you feel that you could possibly get banned for it. Therefore just don't do it. Simple as that.

2 RespuestasI don't see why this guy thinks this is hacking. It could be considered as an exploit though, it most likely wasn't intended to be that way. That's shouldn't be grounds for a ban either, btw you should remove the name before they take down the post.
