I hoard engrams. You heard me. I collect a load of engrams and then decrypt them. But my 324 hunter just doesn't get good loot. The only way I get a higher light level is by ranking up factions. But even then, there's a chance of getting a hand cannon 20 light lower. The other only ways include doing high risk events such as nightfall and iron banner. I was rewarded with armour just enough to push me past 320 and I've been floating at 324 for a few weeks now. It gets boring. I started a warlock recently and popped it up with my spark of light. Got it to around 280. Most engrams on that are better but that's when RNG doesn't kick in yet. I've only ever done nightfall once and got a mida. I did challenge of elders all to the end but the leader went to orbit with us before we got any loot. Any suggestions on how to get better gear? Edit: I'm on the 360 btw so lots of restrictions including raid finding.
