Reforging
Do you think bungie should bring it back? Do you think it broke the balance of the game? To be fair we can still use these reforged weapons in regular crucible so it seems like it hit pve a bit harder. Bungie if you see this, do you think it was a mistake to add it in. Personally, I think with how awesome some of the weapons are and how difficult it can be to get a good roll on them (not to mention time consuming) it would be nice to be able to reroll some of the weapons we get. An example is if you were to get a devil you know from a vanguard rank up or a red spectre which needs some stability buffing perks to be effective. This came to mind and I know people would use it to get perfect snipers and shotguns for trials and iron banner but I did like having a few weapons that were good in their base stats and then getting perks on that I like using.
Edit: I took a suggestion and made a poll about the topic and linked this thread. Hopefully this will increase discussion and give a better idea about what the community is thinking. Thank you to all who took an interest in the topic and shared their feelings on the matter.

Agreed I don't care if it costs 100 legendry marks giving a gun with rubbish rolls is not a reward bungie

5 Respuestassome loot is so rare like luna's and pc+1 same as package drop weapons that getting a good roll is hard on some. getting a god roll is near impossible. even with grinding its so annoying when you drop one and your hopes raise while going in to check the perks and feels like a kick in the nuts when the roll is beyond awful. I think we are as close now to balance where reforge could come back and make the sheer amount of useless loot something worth keeping. I have 7 totally useless pc+1's in my vault in the vain hope that they do this. I have been grinding hard to get those 7 after none dropped in my first 6 months and none are useful. if they want the game to go mlg I am hoping they do something to allow reforges.

1 RespuestaNo reforging. They need to upgrade infusion. We should be allowed to infuse perks in addition to infusing the light. If you have a weapon with max light, just infuse for perks. I have 7 Imago Loops that are all very marginal. If I could combine three or four of them, I could have the one I want. This is better than reforging as it doesn't saturate the game with one particular roll for one particular weapon.

1 RespuestaI always felt that reforging should only work on 1 perk. You can choose to reforge one perk. This would give you three other RNG perks to choose from. Once selected the perks become locked on that weapon. Prevents easy "god rolls" and limits reforging a bit.

6 RespuestasUse Gunsmith Level Rank up to reroll guns. Instead of him giving you a gun, he gives you the ability to reroll 1 weapon, 1 time with 3 different rolls just like the weekly guns he currently offers. If you like one of the rolls you choose it. If you don't like any of the rolls you cancel out. But you cant reuse the reroll. 1 time use. You cant exploit it cause you can only do 5 bounties a week... period.
