I think it's time for Bungie to add matchmaking to raids. Going online to a separate site to meet up with players you don't know to play the raid is the same as matchmaking anyway.
I've only played one raid with players I met on one of those sites. It was the Kingsfall raid. We didn't complete it because the leader was getting tired. It was late.
So here I am with no raids completed. I would like to complete it.
I think it's time for matchmaking on raids. They might as well add it for Trials of Osiris too.
Does anyone else agree?

2 Respuestas-blam!- no. Stop being lazy assholes and make your own group

-blam!- you and your horrible idea. It wouldn't work

2 RespuestasNo and downvoted for making 10th post like this

3 RespuestasMatchmaking to raids and ToO will cause more problems than it will fix.

5 RespuestasNope. Raids are way too mechanic heavy to rely on a matchmade team. I jumped in to help a buddy do oryx on hard the other day with 3 randoms from LFG. The randoms couldn't understand direction and the mechanics, even with communicating. With a matchmade team, there's a solid chance at least one person isn't on a mic. For encounters where communication is critical, you aren't going to get very far.

1 RespuestaThe only ones who don't are YouTubers/Streamer(they could/would longer do carry streams) & those who need an item to say hey look at me. I have something in a video game you don't.

3 RespuestasNo, ask for an in game LFG. Strike matchmaking is already terrible. Raid would be worse.

As long as it's optional I'm fine. And if you say going on a separate website is the same as matchmaking then why do we need matchmaking?

3 RespuestasAdding matchmaking to ANYTHING without making it an option is absolute nonsense! Matchmaking should be offered for those who wish to use the service but not make obligatory. How can Bungie think its best to be completely one way or the other. Will I be able to do weekly strikes, strikes from the Director, or nightfall solo or with friends when ROI comes out? This is a HUGE aspect of the game in which I do not get to participate. With no new story and no new patrol and no chance of reward other than the odd legendary engram I get after playing 15-20 hours a week there's really nothing to keep me interested in playing. I don't want to solo the new raid but I'm never going to attempt it with a bunch of randoms. Maybe you should include matchmaking for those who want it and allow those of us who want to, and can, strike on our own the option to do so.

Editado por D3L7A: 8/29/2016 5:52:09 PMIf a few minutes to post is a pain to some people then i could only imagine joining a raid just to matchmake and have someone connect at an oryx kill or any other raid boss then you'll have people just AFK, or don't listen and the list continues on. So unless there was a vote to kick option or setting the whole fireteam settings via the fireteam leader to apply open/invite only/closed then im against it.

If spending 5 minutes to build a raid team is so arduous, then how can you afford the hour that it takes to complete a raid?
-
1 RespuestaYes but only if it is optional.

8 RespuestasMatchmade raids would be awful as the gear would not be worth as much be cause the game would hold your hand throughout the raid because some people wouldn't know the mechanics

Unfortunately, it wouldn't work very well imo. Did you try the lfg on this app or a 3rd party site? I've had really good luck on the recruitment tab of this app and, since I started using it, have completed the raid countless times. You'll still get bad groups, but I've found many good, even killing oryx first run on challenge mode a couple of times.
