Salvage is the Absolute Worst Game Mode
My hate for this Game mode is massive. Its completely broken.
Edit: To everyone saying to play with a team or don't play solo, I have friends I play with that are competent players. And No I don't solo capture unless the whole team has been wiped.

I love it. It gives you a place to congregate for a nice clash match. Instead of hiding people flock to it. Makes it hella sweaty.

Yeah, they really need to fix the way points are awarded in that game mode. I think it'd be better if you got 50 points for every ten seconds the probe is active, 100 points for successfully defending it l, and 75 points for disarming it.

It's so badly designed. The best way to win is to let the enemy capture the point, and then clean them up and disarm it. It doesn't reward players for playing the objective.

While I agree, your argument is more greatly heard by saying why you say it's the worst and what you would do to fix it?

P.s: all game modes should have scoring like inferno except mayhem and zone control 1 kill = 100 points I don't belive there is extra points for assists either so it solely comes down to just kills not who had more kills with supers and heavy for more points.

7 RespuestasI was playing doubles solo the last time it was available and I ended up playing a fireteam of two nightstalker hunters in three salvage matches. I was on my Titan so I switched to defender because if you add duration your bubble lasts the entire time when capping relics. Needless to say for two games I beat them pretty good because with armour of light they couldn't challenge me. After the second game they both switched to bladedancer and we still beat them again. The best part of the day was after they left one of them sent me a message "You only won because you capped relics"😂

This is true. You get more points for dismantling the probe than enabling it, discouraging objective play. It is dumb.

Add quiver on top of that and you have a near invincible relic. This is one of my favorite clips while doing this. Not a big fan of the gun play, but what I got out of the super AND making someone rage quit was what I savored the most. 17 RespuestasRumble is broken I had 24 kills and 9 deaths once and lost to a guy with 23 kills and 15 deaths that is not balance and is more broken than salvage in my opinion. You can literally just win just by killing 1st place and not even having a lot of kills. I though rumble was suppose to award players with the highest kills bungie never cease to amaze me they are the worst developers in my opinion.

It could be a great game mode. The problem is, the points system should be changed. You SHOULD NOT be able to get more points by disabling. This discourages players from going for the objective, so they just wait for the other team to cap first. If they changed this ONE THING, the game mode would be played as it was meant to. I also play it like that because it's the best way to win. But it's just stupid that way. It would be a lot more fun if it were played properly.

They need to seriously fix this game mode. No one ever captures the point, which just means that the game lasts way too long.
