Sunsinger isn't a true offense super. It's a support super. It's not made to do anything other then help your team and spam grenades. That's it. It either increases your own ability to survive or helps your fellow team mates with cool downs. You don't go guns blazing into 3+ enemies and Insta kill them. Yes they got hit hard with nerfs. But their super isn't just about killing. It's just like defender minus the stationary bubble

I tell my teammates to gather around 'cause I'm about to sing a song. Song of Flame works, just embrace the support role. Like the guy above me says, make sure you can hold 2 grenades, that way, your radiance will atleast leave you two for when it's done.

Ignore song of flame and sunburst for a second, how is sunsinger support? Now look at sunburst, a single small orb upon a scorch kill that will reduce cooldowns by 7 seconds, this is on a 180 second super as well Look at song of flame, unless you are directly speaking with your teamates and they have stacked entirely into discipline, you are getting 2 maybe 3 grenades from each teamate, not speaking with them? Good luck trying to get them to notice the buff and use it Not stacked into discipline? You get 1 extra grenade So 3 grenades and 14 seconds off of everyones super every 16 seconds at best maximum efficiency (Claws of ahamkara for a second sunburst,every melee being a kill,teamates communicating and stacked into discipline, you stacked into discipline) Support is hardly what sunsinger is Look at nightstalker, invis on allies,tons of orbs when you use your super or increased armor/agility, bonus damage to targets, ability to mark and call out targets for extended periods of time and save teamates from enemy supers Look at defender, ability to generate SO MANY ORBS (Iron harvest,gift of light,gift of the void and super + crest of alpha snoopi), ability to improve DPS or Health, ability to save from generic shit (ward of dawn) ability to save from enemy supers (supressor nade ,difficult, but doable) and blind rushers Compare sunsinger to this and you get something that, even at maximum efficiency, is just a shadow of these 2. Almosr forgot about viking funeral + touch of flame combo, oh wait even that follows what i said, at best without your super you get 1-2 seconds of 15% extra damage and 2 seconds of 10% extra damage and 3 seconds of 5% extra (2 grenades and a melee stacking it with Starfire protocol or sunbreakers) sounds half decent right? Until you remember that sunbreakers (titan class) gets 7 seconds of +50% damage for A SINGLE MELEE okay maybe the super fares better than it does without. So lets compare supers at maximum efficiency. Sunsinger can keep 3 stacks of viking funeral on a target if they use 2 grenades via an exotic, touch of flame,max discipline and obviously viking funeral, for +15% damage (when it does weaken instead of buff enemies) but they need to spam these grenades the entire super, thus debilitating them for anything else (Movement,add control, plates,auras,etc.) So +15% damage for your complete and undivided attention as well as a loadout focused specifically for this Lets look at nightstalker, flat 33% for 10 seconds (can be extended by killing tethered targets) with one shot, no further attention,perks or gear required. But this doesnt apply to one target, this applies to any near the impact of the shot, also supressing them (great for hive wizards/minotaurs),slowing them and causing huge flinch (PvP only) all for a single shot, without any perks or extra attention, allowing the nightstalker to slam down a smoke and run away invisibly Maybe defender is worse. 33% extra damage while inside and for a short time outside the bubble, which can be refreshed at any time, by going back in during its 25 seconds duration, only required weapons of light and the perk on the bottom right (increases effectivness of blessin and weapons) no exotic or stat requirement here, best part is, becausr this is a buff you dont need to worry about shooting certain enemies for this increased damage, it works on anything! Oh and did i mention that you can stand inside the ward of dawn for TOTAL invulnerability to outside damage? So i ask you again, how is sunsinger a support class when the other 2 overshadow it in EVERY WAY?

Then you should be playing as a Titan or Hunter if they are so superior, but if you want to be a warlock, then you have a choice. Stop comparing abilities and play the character you want.

Didn't address a single one of my points. Your solution to the cry of a buff (That you would benefit from btw) is "Ignore it, just go pick something else, your opinion matters not, no matter how thoughtfully and reasonably you put your arguement forward" The average sunsinger K/D was the 3rd lowest before the "Balance" how much further has it fallen now? I am all for a reasonable debate, but please address the points i am making

The average sunsinger's K/D is a moot point, because the people who still use it, like myself, do so because they like it and don't care about some arbitrary number. The people who care for such things have most likely changed classes. Maybe I did dismiss your points, but you also dismissed mine. Use what you've been given or don't. Anyone asking for a nerf of anything is not helping the cause. Something will always rise to power.

I use that number because i cannot think of another OBJECTIVE way to measure a subclasses performance, aside from win/loss but that would also factor in the other players Your point was to ignore mine, you provided no evidence as to why your point is correct, just an opinion, which you asserted to be fact

Except with the sunslinger it's support is directly linked to it's grenade. Viking funeral make the solar grenade viable and a major threat when you popped your super. Now I see people walk right through the grenades (I have even done it myself) kill the one throwing them and still have 1/2 their health bar. If you want to argue just use fusion grenades, solar titans have a better setup for that build and can spam the grenade for longer. If a sunslinger is doing well in a match they are relying on solely gun skill because their abilities are doing them no favors.
