Is doom good?
Gamestop has a sale going on and doom is $19.99 and I was thinking of picking it up, but is it worth it?

It's totally worth it. As long as you can stand gore.

The campaign's great. If you're a classic Doom fan, you'll be satisfied. Multiplayer is ehhh, but the armor and weapon customization makes up for that. Snapmap is fairly powerful, but definitely not as powerful as classic Doom level creators.

11 RespuestasAbsolutely! Just lacks a little content, I had platinum in like 2/3 days, but it's fine for $20. The mp is generally considered mediocre, but personally, I enjoyed it quite a lot.

It is very good i recommend playing it on the lower difficulties and after finishing it up the difficultly one at a time until you feel confident enough that you know when and were things spawn and how to best deal with them

It's good for 20$. I bought it full price and got my moneys worth. And I really enjoy the PvP for being simple and something I can just relax and play.

I've heard the story and snapmap are good but I don't have the game myself.

If you get it, make sure you ask for the promo alt cover art also. It's just a skip of paper, but to me it made the $20 sale a steal. They shipped a ton of the cover art and preorder posters and very store seems to still have a bunch

The original is a lot of fun Microsoft edited it to be available on the Xbox I thinks it $2.99 there's a multi player and a single player option.

You can also get it for that price on pc, just ask and they'll get you the pc copy as they don't carry them out on the floor.

I bought it yesterday, was planning on buying on release but didn't want to ruin any nostalgia I had from the original. Man it's so good... the gamplay/movement is so slick and I actually found my self smiling and laughing whilst playing it's that good. Definitely worth 20$

I bought the game for $30 Started with the multiplayer I now have 30 hours in without even touching the campaign And they say its the best part in the game! Go and buy it now!!

For 19.99? That a really, really good price IMO man. DOOM has one of the best FPS campaigns in the recent years, the MP is not that good though, but the campaign is really worth it to play. I definetly recommend it.

Yeah, for that price. Don't buy season pass though, pvp is bland IMO. The campaign will entertain you, if you enjoy the authentic doom experience (or if you just want to kill stuff). If you are a horror guy, like myself, you may not be entertained for too long. Either way, the price is stellar, so try it out.
