I've been playing this game since day 1 and it's all I play but how you guys have been acting lately is really starting to bother me.
It seems apparent to me that you only really care about the high profile players who stream on twitch or make YouTube videos cause I saw several different videos of these amazing gift boxes that you just happened to send to them and you invited them all to your hq to play the rise of iron, so they could all make videos about it and give you tons of free advertising. And I'm sick and tired of the community focus is almost always some high profile streamer or youtuber that we all know about already. I understand the free advertising I do but gosh darn' how bout you guys celebrate the real Heros the players who invest thousands of hours into destiny not for views or donations but simply for the love of this game. Twitch and streamers have already ruined the trials of Osiris with paid carries, quit catering to this very small part of the community and start appreciating the players.

3 RespuestasEditado por H_TOWN_BALLA_80: 8/26/2016 4:31:47 PMWhat's bad about the streamers isn't the streamers themselves as much as the brain dead lemming fuqs who act like the streamers are the authority on what is what with the game. They then run around parroting this mindless garbage like it's gospel because fuqng streamer X said it so it must be what's best for the game durrrrr! Then, God forbid you disagree with this malignant legion of wasted genomes on something like a senseless nerf *cough* MIDA *cough* that A) makes absolutely no fuqng sense B) is totally unneeded and unwarranted and C) EVEN BUNGIE SAID THE DAMN THING WAS FINE AS IS, and they try to shame you into line with the rest of them saying "Oh, you must not want BALANCE in the game, huh!?". The word "balance" somehow became the new code word for the nerf gestapo and if you don't grab ankle in the name of "balance" then you're unintelligent and a scrub using a crutch hue hue hue. So now, everyone can cry for any nerf and no matter how asinine it is, they can fall back on the ol' chestnut of "er mer gherd it's fer balance!" *takes breath* All that being said, not EVERYONE who enjoys watching streamers is like this, I am not saying that. To me however, it seems more often than not, this is the general effect that I see streamers have on the general populace. I also don't believe that ALL nerf requests are unwarranted but the current cries about UR and Stormcaller......hue hue hue.

2 RespuestasSeems they have barrack Obama syndrome, only caring about being famous and not what's really going on around them...

Destiny and bungie do need to give props and due respect to the average gamers,we are the ones that keep this game alive. The streamers are an extremely small minority of the total player base. The streamers do nothing but play the game while they spout obscenities and retarded dribble. I wouldn't give any of them a penny of my money.
-
2 RespuestasStreamers big or small do alot of the work themselves. like me as a small streamer, by the way check me out at twitch.tv/djdoa113. See that's self promotion. Bungie didn't do that for me, I did. We play the game just as much as everyone else. Streamers do a lot of hard work. Staying up making video, doing research so you don't have to, and other different things. Some streamers have worked really hard to be where they are. It should be praised not frowned upon. now that does not go for every streamer, remember that.

25 RespuestasEditado por Ghostload: 8/26/2016 11:43:58 AMLmfao What exactly caters to streamers? You seem to misunderstand what the word catering means. If they added a weapon, or a game mechanic that only the you tubers/streamers benefitted from then, yeah id say they cater to them. But you'll notice that whenever something gets nerfed the requests start with the streamers and then get taken over by the community.
celebrate the real Heros the players who invest thousands of hours into destiny not for views or donations but simply for the love of the game
That's literally what the streamers are. Grow up

Thats a lie that has been spread around for a while now. Its not intentional. Streamers and Youtubers are the ones who have put the effort into being visible. Bungie sees them more easily. Its not like they try to ignore you. Its more like one youtube video can be clearer than ten comments.
-
It's make a big difference on the game let's say your streaming with 5000 followers and you tell them all this game is crap bungie will be losing a lot of money.
-
I agree with you but they do have great influence on the Destiny community. They just done a charity stream were the collective effort of manny of them collaborated to raise money. They raised 500K $ That's why Bungie will listen to them because they have the majority of ppl and they represent there stream. Us Bungie.net dwellers have inconsistent opinions and a lot of trolls. From a business point of view Bungie is doing the right thing.

4 RespuestasI agree. The gift boxes are the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Luckily a lot of YouTubers raffle them away so at least they aren't selfish but like what the heck have they really done? They spout out redundant material over and over covered by hundreds of other channels. The only ones I genuinely enjoy is Datto and Moreconsole.

3 RespuestasThank you for this post man. Much appreciated. Someone needs to put this out there. You are very brave to post this and deal with all the negativity and others that disagree with you. Kudos

9 RespuestasI know what you mean. I played against RealKraftyy and barely won 5-4. Went onto his stream and said GG close game. Looked at his chat and it was blowing up saying my team are playing like noobs, camping, boring players, and weonly won because we are terrible.

11 RespuestasI'm going to upvote but I'm on the fence. They can't ship everyone free stuff... But I get your point.
-
People are just mad they can't go to work and play video games, which actually doesn't sound that bad now that you mention it.
-
Editado por Cat_Corye: 8/27/2016 3:33:35 AMSure, that's why it seems like everyone that's crying on the forms seem to get things nerf.
-
2 RespuestasHow would you like Bungie to appreciate the every day player?
-
4 RespuestasI agree completely but it's unlikely because like you said, free advertising. Bungie and Activision strike me as the companies that think business first, customers second.
-
Of course they're catering. The streamers and youtubers are what's getting the attention for destiny.

Editado por Elden Lord Archon: 8/27/2016 2:55:02 AMWell the thing is, it's easy to invest lots of time into a game. It's hard to get a bunch of viewers and subs. So actually, the streamers and YouTubers ARE the real heroes. It sounds to me like you're just jealous. XD
Although I do hate paid carries to the lighthouse. Free ones are great tho.
5 RespuestasYou are 100% right. Bungie needs to treat streamers with the same indifference that they treat the rest of the community. Streamers have ruined trials, they should not be allowed to accept money for carries. If they want to carry someone good for them, but accepting money for it is WRONG! They need to ban these guys for charging players for carries. Bungie needs to stop encouraging them, I don't give a rats a$$ if it is advertising. It sends the wrong message to the community, if you stream and pretend to know what your talking about, you matter. Just shows you where their priorities are!
-
1 RespuestaAgreed, they need to focus on the average player. I've helped thousands (many PVP focused players) through the raids, want to know how many of the same players will help out with trails, none! They are generally a selfish bunch that you really don't want to be the face of your game. The PVE community built this game up and the PVP community is destroying it. The only players left on my friends list that I can stand to talk to for more than five minutes are PVE focused players.
-
5 RespuestasI agree. Apparently the reason why the raid launch is three days after ROI is because that it won't interfere with twitchcon. Great idea bungie (not).
-
Only if Datto allows them to.
-
1 RespuestaGood luck getting bungie an other people to listen. I just get insulted for it.
-
51 RespuestasWhy? These streamers and you tubers are fine. What's wrong with them doing that? These guys spend hours playing this game. Also they spend hours editing...
-
2 RespuestasIt is a win win for both and we get access to early viewings would you rather have no early viewings and no one does anything or what we have

Twitch is free marketing and advertising through the streamers, every major company takes advantage of popular members of the games community to free market their product. This is a new era and every major company does it, just have to change with the times bro.
