Actually most modern countries have their minimum wage at around the equivalent of $15 so I don't see why you have a problem with that

Editado por Steve of Steves: 8/26/2016 2:48:16 AM
In what way
$15 USD is not equal to $15 Euros, or most other currencies for that matter. $15 in America can't buy the same thing for the same price in a foreign country Therefore, you can not compare another country's $15 wage in their currency to $15 USD.

We're the 3rd most populated(at last check) country in the world. Our businesses can't handle higher wages because there's so many of us.

Not everyone works a minimum wage job

Duh. The people who DO work min wage are mostly in restaurants, which will not be able to handle higher taxes and a higher wage. Min wage jobs are supposed to be the gateway to higher wage jobs. You're not meant to keep them for a lasting time.

Again, most modern countries have around the equivalent of a $15 minimum wage so I don't see why we can't do it either

Reread my reply. We're bigger than all but 2 countries
