Just curious as to what the community's thoughts are on the subject since I have heard people say it is a very OP weapon and I tend to disagree with them on this. I feel like it is one of the more balanced exotics in the game but due to the amount of nerfs as of late to all the other weapons surrounding it in the meta it has emerged as a very viable weapon, thus could be perceived as OverPowered. Just my thoughts. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for the feedback in advance.
Edit: This is not a nerf post but rather a post to find out everyone's opinion on the weapon. I personally feel that minus its high aim assist the MIDA is in a good spot.

Editado por xxHORSExKNEExx: 8/24/2016 10:10:20 PMNeither Pulse rifles are op. Seems noone notices. Too worried about tlw and mida and Universal remote. REMEMBER IT'S EXOTIC AS WELL........
-
Overused but balanced because it's...well. balanced
-
Neither, I see more tlw and hawksaw.
-
It's just overused, I consistently outgun people using Mida with a bunch of different weapons. Granted, it's one of the better scout rifles, but it's not OP.
-
3 RespuestasOP...have 2 MIDA's but i don't use them cause it feels like cheat.
-
It's definitely not overpowered and I'd argue it being overused, I see plenty of people using plenty of weapons.
-
I wouldn't say overused, it's an effective weapon, logic dictates that a lot of people would use it
-
If you want an opinion you should offer more than two biased options,

2 RespuestasEditado por Dano2point0: 8/23/2016 2:30:33 PMIt's the only Scout Rifle that I'm aware of that doesn't follow conventional archetype base impact and rate of fire. Red Death was the same way and it was reclassified so that it couldn't two-burst anymore. That basic fact alone makes it overpowered. And because it's overpowered, it's overused. Players going full tryhard in this game don't choose balanced weapons. They choose superior weapons with superior base stats. So in addition to a weapon that doesn't fit conventional Impact/RoF archetypes, it has 90 aim assist, 100 reload speed and handling, bonus Agility, Third Eye, a crap ton of ammo, and Range that competes with the hardest hitting scout rifles at max range or the flexibility to beat an auto rifle in close range. If Bungie came out and said that it was OP, a quarter of the Destiny community would have a conniption because they don't use anything else. So you aren't going to hear Bungie say that, ever. What they will tell you is that it is overused and because they want to give players options they will rebalance it in a future update.

Op is snipers. Mida is used to counter snipers.

3 RespuestasIt's definitely a solid choice and in the right hands with maxed agility strafing at medium to long rang you are somewhat OP as long as your connecting, the time to kill is lower than most. Hunter keen scout with this is nice^ And no im not talking about Titan/warlocks with barely and agility relying on mida's +2 It will beat most auto rifles and pulse rifles with ease but a high impact low rof scout will beat you any day if they land all head shots at a longer range.

It was overused when it had high caliber rounds and it still continues to be overused

1 RespuestaEditado por SeneschalGrigori: 8/23/2016 8:24:50 PMOverused It was one of the weapons that nobody gave a shit about back at launch but everyone suddenly cried about after every other weapon was pounded with the nerf hammer. Meanwhile what should have happened was other weapons brought up to it's level considering MIDA wasn't ever really buffed in the first place. However that didn't stop people from crying about how "OP" it became even though it's status never changed. Hell, when back during the TLW/Thorn meta I was getting messages commending my usage of the MIDA, fast forward to now & people send hatemail about using the exact same weapon that I was using in Y1. Meanwhile the weapon didn't change, the rest of the weapons were just mercilessly nerfed into the ground. Actually, you want to know what the MIDA was mainly used for prior to all those nerfs? Abusing the lamp glitch and move quicker while doing so. Not actually using it, just utilizing the speed boost. That should tell you something

Just overused. I do get angry how it can out play a pulse rifle or auto rifle at close to mid range, but it's fine.
-
1 RespuestaIts working as intended. However, I feel that anyone that gets close enough with an auto rifle should absolutely shred a mida user.
-
There will always be a meta. When you get rid of one, another rises. It seems that the only thing they can do to differentiate TTK between weapons is to dictate a weapons effectiveness at a specific range. If hand cannons can kill at scout rifle range why use a scout? Etc.. You have to I understand what "exotic weapon " means to bungie. They said they don't want them to be game changers. I feel exotics should be the best primaries ,if not then their style is the only thing that makes them exotic. Overall I like the current meta, part of me still feels that most weapons just don't feel special anymore. Point in case, all the conversation about the once average Mida multi tool.
-
4 RespuestasI use it because it's really consistent. It'll perform the exact same whatever situation you're in. Also because I like to go fast like Sanic.

It's not op anymore.
-
Mida never was OP
-
I've used scouts since the beginning and there are many other scout rifles that are just as good, and legendary.
-
15 RespuestasJust a quick question. Ever stop to think why it is overused?
-
2 RespuestasIt takes what 3-4 head shots. I think 1hs 3bs work. Regardless, that's a lot of shots to land. It is for sure over used.
-
It's over used. I can out gun then with my scout rifle in my hunter...most of the time
-
This weapon needs a small damage nutf I use it and it can beat out a lot of others weapons and at a good range
-
I can outgun MIDA users at mid range with TLW so definitely not OP
